So worthless it's hard to know where to start, but I suppose coverage is the #1 fail. I think it is supposed to be a tourism promotion app, so its utter failure to appeal to me as a potential tourist might loom larger? Rather than go into the other aspects of this app's badness, let me try to twist to a constructive suggestion: Put WiFi routers on the trains. Heaven knows the trains have the electric power to spare and I certainly hope they have communications capabilities for safety purposes. (And yes, of course the safety communications should have priority over the passengers.) Actually, I'll go a step farther and say if they cared a fig for customer service over monopoly profits, then they would even wire some cars for phone service. I say that even though I would hate to ride on a "mobile phone okay" car, but I'm absolutely sure that 95% of the younger passengers would be crowding into those cars. (I was trapped on the Odakyu Line for 15 years before I moved, and I sincerely hope I NEVER ride it again. And now, I can uninstall this worthless app, too.)
