Terrible. Did not work once.

Utterly useless. Doesn't connect to WiFi, spams notifications, and uses GPS and drains battery. Doesn't work offline either. No point in having this

Need a constant GPS location, wasting my battery. Unable to connect most of the time. The other JFW is a lot better.

This app is JUNK. Never once worked. Not even when I connected​ to one of the wifi networks that they advertise in the brochure (even after multiple refresh attempts). This app just drains your battery with constant GPS, RAM, and mobile data usage (ironic, right?). Also sends constant push notifications to your phone. Stay away. It's not even worth trying out. Complete garbage!!

Doesn't properly connect to WiFi, but drains your battery by having GPS on all the time and spamming you with ad notifications several times per day. Remember: when something is free it's because YOU are the product being sold.

It has been very useful on a few occasions. Landed in Japan and the airport WiFi was down. I'd downloaded this app before traveling and used it to figure out which train to catch to the hotel. BUT as other people have said the app runs the GPS all the time for connecting​ to hotspots which kills my battery and it will alert you to near by deals which can be annoying at 6am.

I've a pile of free PREMIUM CODES obtained from Don Kihote etc. The old app worked great for me after I entered the premium code, and connecting to premium hotspots did work, though not without some hassles, but it worked most of the time for me. Now, with the "Premium" system gone, I thought this is for good, no need to source for premium code leaflets anymore, and anyone can enjoy especially for those who have no idea what's a premium code & where to get some, but now the app does NOT connect to anything

Downloaded the app for WiFi spots... It scans but rarely find or connect to any spots. Kinda of useless.. Better to just buy a sim card for data

Not reliable for WiFi - connection, no useful information and used up all the mobile data I bought because I got so frustrated with this app.

We never could use it. Never worked and was very difficult to find good WiFi spots.

This app used up 500 mb of data during my 2 weeks in Japan. It's always spamming notifications and the premium WiFi is very unreliable.

Have had this for 3 days and all it does is spam ads. It is supposed to also connect to free wifi but it does not log in. Messaged support with no help. Pretty much an app that just spams adds.

Doesn't work at all. Installed Japan wifi app with red logo and was connected to a wifi within 20 seconds. Uninstalling this app after 3 days of never been able to connect

This only worked about 10℅ of the time, and only when I ignored all the password prompts and opened a non-Chrome app first could I occasionally get the Internet to work. Even then, it dropped the connection about 5 minutes later and threw me back to the password prompt. Spent more time fighting the app than I did on the internet.

Only works on about 10% is the supposedly compatible hotspots, based on my 4 days using it in Tokyo. Also, it force closes on boot twice on the LG G3.

Fraud. Does not connect to anything. It's just an ad spam app. Don't download.

Try first not ok delete...easy way

It took me a while to figure out how to use the free premium Wi-Fi. Once connected to one of the free or premium Wi-Fi, instead of entering log in information, you should open the app and refresh the page. Once it says "connected" in the app, you are good to go. One star less though because it is not mentioned in the instructions.

After entering the premium code the wifi still doesnt connect. The app still says it isnt active. All the permissions hv been given so I see no reason for it to stay inactive. No available answers online or at the FAQ.

It's completely unclear what this app is actually supposed to do for the user. Most of the WiFi hotspots for which it permits access are already open networks. The app then bombards the user with continuous 'tips' (adverts) for her trouble. If you want reliable access to the Internet while visiting Japan, just purchase a traveler's sim with a data bundle.

App was installed for me by the counter in KIX, but it has never once worked despite being a premium user. It constantly connects me to Wi2 hotspots even though I have actually been trying to avoid them because the app doesn't authenticate me. On top of that, it takes advantage of whatever limited data you DO have to show you ads as notifications. In other words: do NOT install this -- it's garbage adware and will kill your battery for no reason.

Make sure you get it activated at the airport you enter at and they'll give you a code that lets you access the free WiFi spots. Doesn't always work but when it does it's amazing. Make sure you also restart your phone at least once after you get the code. Drained my battery lots until I did that.

Doesn't work. Takes all your info but hardly no wifi spots in major areas. Terrible app
