SecondStatus(second clock) for Android
I had been using this app happily for several years. Unfortunately, since upgrading to Nougat the second displayed locks on the time that the app starts and fails to update. I see that at least one other person has experienced the same problem. Hopefully the developer can correct this problem. Until then, you'll have to choose between having a functional version of this app or having Nougat.
My S7 recently updated to Nougat 7.0 and now the app won't refresh. It still displays but doesn't refresh. For example the seconds stays at 52 (seconds). Been using it for a long time, no problems apart from this. Please update!
It doesn't work on my samsung S7, it just displays a frozen number on the top of my screen rather then it showing my time in seconds. I'd love to have it working though... :c
Simple, under 1 MB install, perfect fix for google clock or samsung clock that does not display seconds. No advertisements, no permissions, except run on starup, which can be turned off. Great app
OK. Icon at top of screen is good. Unable to keep that icon without seeing app in status screen can not swipe away from status screen to see other items. Uninstalled.
This app does not work, it does not advance the seconds once it is started. I see that multiple other users are having the same issue with this useless app.
Seconds are not shown in notification bar (only the static app icon is shown) on my Redmi 3 with MIUI v8. No widget to start / stop it.
A few months back it just stopped working & still doesn't. The second you restart it shows up- and it just stays there, on that second!
I love it 60 second but it not on home screen. It just on the lock screen not too good.
This app is not nougat compatible, as it doesn't countdown the seconds in the notification bar anyone
Does what it's supposed to do, wish I could find one that goes on the home screen normal clock and the status top right normal clock I'm rooted but can't find one...
This app does not work with Nougat. Please update.
Been using this for quite a while now. Perfect for what I wanted it for and it works perfectly as well. The only slight issue is that it now does not always open upon launch and so have to manually. Not a big deal though.
In the notification, the number that counts is low resolution and looks like an upscaled image rather than text. It looks ugly. Other than that, I am satisfied with my care
Thanks for a simple app that fixes a major problem UPDATE. can you fix the problem with it not showing the correct numbers on the second screen of my LG v10 running 6.0?
Was excellent and trouble free for several years... Till today. Hasn't been updated since 2012, dev's email address no good.
Was hoping that I would be able to see it! For us oldies with not such good eyesight would prefer it if displayed on screen and not on notification bar.
For work with time-synchronised equipment I need accurate clock. Phones have the time synched great but no way of looking up the seconds! This app does it so simply, and I just need to wake the screen up to see it all, no obscuring the screen etc. Thanks so much!
Due to how Android lollipop treats notifications on the lock screen it would be nice if the author of this app would create some custom option to either prevent this app to show on the lock screen as a fixed number or somehow have the app auto update its second value in the notification block on the lock screen.
My job requires that I keep track of time .. to the second. This is precisely what I need. I like that it displays on the top bar, so it's almost always visible. Worked fine as soon as it was loaded. Thanks, this app may be unadorned and basic, but I think it's great.
I love it 60 second but it not on home screen. It just on the lock screen not too good.
Does what it's supposed to do, wish I could find one that goes on the home screen normal clock and the status top right normal clock I'm rooted but can't find one...
Installed it but it doesn't tick. What could be the problem?
I can get out of class like a boss
Perfect for checking pulse without having to open any extra clocks. Just pick up phone and look at notification bar.
.... But it crashed in Android N beta. Too bad.
Doesn't work in N beta
Doesn't work on axon 7
Nothing better than this one. BUT please don't ask again when stop application. And it should have a widget version that can touch to make it on/off. Thanks :)
This app "SecondStatus" is perfectly synchronized!!! The other app - "seconds clock on status bar" the seconds are approximately a half a second (maybe a little more) lagged, once the clock changes to the next minute it takes about a half a second for the seconds to change to "00" To me that's a deal breaker so I'm using this! Although I like that "seconds clock on status bar" can be enabled/disabled by shaking the phone.. I wish it can be added here as well! Also this app is smaller & easier on the phone!
In the notification, the number that counts is low resolution and looks like an upscaled image rather than text. It looks ugly. Other than that, I am satisfied with my care.
The time is on the right but the seconds are on the left of the screen. Can you change that please.
Very accurate with the system time. Does Not use any significant memory nor data. Light weight App. Just "seconds" for your minutes... I tried every options on Android, and could not get the seconds to show. Thanks to the developer who made such as simple and useful App. Five Stars!!!!!
Five star if there is floating and resizeable option..overall nice..
Email to developer doesn't work. Using on Verizon Galaxy 5s. Clock in upper corner of app is never correct.
Simply awesome. Great tool for getting to the bus right in time!!
I like the app. Provides exactly what I was looking for. My only problem is that my screen doesn't turn off (time out) like I want it to because it still sees something working.
Not working on Xiao Mi phone withe MIUI v6 installed.
Great solution! Congrats!
