Simpleaf is a very simple and surprisingly efficient handwriting memo app.
For example, when you want to make a note while web browsing or making phone calls, you simply swipe down the status bar and launch Simpleaf.
You can also make a note, at the same time you are looking at the screen by making Simpleaf translucent.
Notes can be transmitted to mail-apps or Evernote and so on.
(Traffic can be saved by specifying an image size and format.)
This free version is supported by ads.

Some complaints about it not capturing the screen. For me, I'm glad it doesn't. If you add that feature please make it optional.

The idea is creative. You just write the note without fiddling with buttons just when you need it..eg when making a phone call.

This is an ok app. It does what the description says it will but for me, personally, using it on a Samsung S3 just doesn't work. This app might be great for a tablet & when I get one I'm goung to find out. But for now, uninstalling. Sorry guys.

Despite the comments about how there could always be more (some people) This app is a must especially for school. This app does perfectly what none other has, you can look up information online and open this app easily, make it translucent, and record what you see on the web page. Great for researching things, looking up phone numbers, getting addresses etc (makes for easy shopping lists). Its simple, light, not overly complicated, straight forward. The simplicity of this app is more like a feature.

Yes, it does what it says it's going to do! The awesome part is writing notes while your Web browsing! It really did it! Thanks for a great app that I can use on a not so great Android...ok, well my phone is not the latest version, but its good. You go Tuu.
