WiFi Connect for tasker for Android
Keeps crashing , Android M ,causes massive slowdown because it keeps attempting to re-start and reconnect.....phone reports 56 crashes in 12 hours
Great plugin, does exactly what it advertises. Would be 5 stars if you could get it to accept a variable as the SSID
This worked flawlessly for a long time, but now the "app" stops when trying to enter configuration within a Tasker profile/task.
Got it up and running in less than 10 seconds. This is great for use with a standalone android auto phone that needs to tether.
Doesn't work on N
Nothing but a fuzzy screen.
LOL!!
Don't have ui ? Grr
Does what it says it will perfectly
Does what it's supposed to do.
It works
It says WiFi connect and close. I cannot find any other buttons or menus. Is it my version of Android? It looked nice though.
Worked in 5 seconds! Simple. Download, open tasker, select Plugin then WiFi Connect. Click the edit pencil to be shown a list of available SSIDs (and recent SSIDs).
Great Tasker plugin! It fills a gap in the tasks that I needed. The ability to associate a specific SSID when I launch a specific APP. Works perfectly. Well done!
Worked perfect on lollipop. Hopefully the dev can update for marshmallow
Does the opposite of what it's told to do.
No need to say
This is the perfect solution to a work connection issue I've been having for months! Great plug-in dev! Thank you!
Thanks you. It works like the way I want it!!
Please fix for Android M
Does what it says it will perfectly
Works flawless on MM
Looks like it integrates well with Tasker, unfortunately it doesn't work on Marshmallow - please update! :D
Nice
It says WiFi connect and close. I cannot find any other buttons or menus. Is it my version of Android? It looked nice though.
Please add support for connecting to an ssid stored in a global variable and I will give it five stars!
It annoys me that Android doesn't let me prioritize WiFi networks like desktop OSs do. This app/Tasker plugin solves that for me. Using this with Tasker I'm now able to have my phone automatically connect to my 5 GHz network when the signal is strong enough, even when my 2.4 GHz network has a stronger signal. Great job, dev!
I'm using this Tasker plugin to tether from my galaxy S3 data plan to my Asus TF300T and Samsung galaxy S 8.4 tablet WiFi version , and it works like a champ, love it ;-)
Wtf
It was working great for a while, but with FoxFi installed it suddenly stopped working. In fact, it not working prevents the connection when the network is present through normal means without manually forcing it to connect.
Thing type things
Only works from inside Tasker from the Action - Plugin menu. Thanks reczcgo!
This app works perfectly on my GS3 but I am running a custom AOSP based ROM and not Touchwiz. I am using this along with another Tasker plug-in called Autolocation and its geofencing feature to easily and very reliably turn my WiFi on or off based on whether my device is inside any number of geofences I have defined.
awesome integration with tasker. i wanted for my phone to connect automatically with my rx100 when i launched the playmemories app and disconnect when i exit and reconnect to my home wifi. saves a lot of trouble and steps. haha! thanks dev!
Must use via tasker app.
Really wanted this to work
A simple app that just does what it says. Thanks :)

This is just the plugin I was looking for! I've been trying to get Tasker to do this without success for ages now; and this guy comes along and does exactly what I wanted all along! For stars instead of five because I would like to be able to have the choice to connect to, for example, SSID1 or SSID2 (say my home Wi-Fi has more than one channel), but I don't want to connect to SSID3. But all that aside, this is great!

Fuzzy screen not able to access the app to change any settings, can be used as plug in in tasker.
