What are users saying about Cell Signal Strength - dBm

by J####:

It stops showing the strength after some time and you have to load the app again and sometimes it's hard to see the strength but all in all a great tool.

C70%
by C####:

Poor choice of font and colour make the status bar view pretty useless.

C70%
by C####:

Awesome app. Thanks so much. Does exactly what I needed and nothing more or less.

C70%
by C####:

Colour is not adjustable

C70%
by C####:

Very nice

O70%
by O####:

The greatest app

U70%
by U####:

The app itself works great. But the icon in the status bar has super thin numbers and shows up very poorly. The nunbers should be larger (normal sized roboto font) and there should be some customization options for the font and color. 5 stars when fixed

by U####:

I am troubleshooting an annoying reception issue with my Nexus 6 and stumbled upon this nifty little app. It displays the dBm in real time on the status bar which is all I need it to do. Yes--its a little hard to read and it has zero options to tweak and play with, but it's free and ad free. What more can you ask for? Shouldn't complain about things that are free, people!

U70%
by U####:

Very thin green digits on a blue background is awful. Only readable with my strongest reading glasses! Remove the initial zero and make the other two digits wider (for readings of less than -99 I suppose it could revert to being narrow if there's space constraints). Allow custom colours as well and it would be perfect.

by C####:

I like this app as it is simple. It just displays the current wireless signal which what I was looking for , but it's not so great if you want to find where the signal is strongest/weakest as you constantly need to look at the phone display . It would be great to see maximum and minimum fields and reset button as well, so cell signal fluctuations can be measured, without constantly looking at the screen. Until then only 4 stars.

by S####:

Pros - Status icon; no ads. Cons - I wish there was a widget ... apparently there once was a widget based on other reviews. P.S. How does this app only have a 3.9 overall rating? I'm guessing it's 'cause folks prefer to see "bars" rather than dbm?

U70%
by U####:

I was looking for this after having to navigate the system menu to the status while positioning my phone as my tethered modem. It's reporting the dbm in real time updates making it a simple and easy to see monitor. I give this app 6 out of 5 stars for not using ads and accessing nothing but what it needs to accomplish it's task.

U70%

And I don't have to give every access know to mankind to use this app. Thank You

U70%
by U####:

No options at all! All you get is your signal strength in your status bar, very difficult to read the thin, green numbers. Uninstalling.

H70%
by H####:

To get the real dbm, must out from app and see again. Uninstall this.

U70%
by U####:

Needs a different font than the crazy ugly green, otherwise it's perfect

G70%

Doesn't work on my dual SIM phone. Useless.

It was working like half year ago but current version is like a dead door knob.

Add realtime ASU notification and auto-start at boot for notif bar and this will be perfect

This would be perfect if the meter would remain active on my notification panel.

must manually start. Annoying.

I used this app to orient a Wilson Cell Phone Booster so I could get the best signal strength for my cell phone. Results went from -105 dBm to -80 dBm, or from zero bars to 1-1/2 to 2 bars. Much more accurate than using bars! And it matched another cell signal strength meter. Hey, I'm pleased!

Works great, of you want to see your dBm, download this app.

I love this little app. Gives a nice large display of dBm and what mode you're in, ie, LTE, HSPA, HSPA+, etc. I use it all the time.

U70%

Color and font are almost impossible to read. Don't need 3 digits, should be next to signal bars.

Nice app! Get it and the widget. I love to combine these apps. The widget has red for 1 bar, orange for 2 bars and green for 3 to 5 bars. I do love both of them for sure! Recommendable!

N70%
by N####:

need a lot of workout... 1. font colour & size customisation option required in the app. 2. location of NUMBERS should be along the signal strength bars. 3. dBm should be present along the value. 4. if possible a CELLID could be included in statusbar. 5. options to turn on off the cellid. 6.it should also work when app closes.
