ISBN Scan is an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) reader application.
It could not only read the ISBN bar-code but also read the ISBN number itself by the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) powered functions.
There is no need to press the shutter when reading, this application reads live images reflected in the camera just by simply waving your device. It has ability to read the ISBN at high accuracy with super-fast speed (Please modift your Camera (in-app) configuration for BEST Reading result/performance!)

I found it intuitive, quickly recognising bar codes. But for 4 out of the 5 codes I scanned, it had data for only one. These 5 were UK published children's books. This app is well designed but needs access to a global ISBN database. Uninstalling.

very good app for detecting books.. the only app that detects ISBN4- Barrcodes ..however, there's a must-have missing feature, which is to save barcodes in text file.

I'm afraid it really does need more of a user manual. First, I have an awful time getting it to focus at all, despite trying multiple different configurations. Second, when I do get it to focus, it still doesn't do anything. No code is scanned, no extra button lights up, there's no indication that it has scanned or even attempted to scan anything. Third, after looking at the web site, it appears that the version here on Google Play is not the same as the one presented on the web site. This product presents itself as a fast scanner of ISBN information, either from bar code, or from the ISBN number printed in OCR-B font on the book. It has so far failed on all counts.

Major problem: when booklist gets beyond a certain length, share menu goes dead. Scan works better in Daylight.
