これまでの登山用GPSアプリは多くの機能を勉強して使いこなすか、シンプル過ぎて紙の地図と大差ないものばかりでした。『ちょうどいい』アプリがありませんでした。
簡単に使えて、安心安全にナビゲーションしてくれる。そういうアプリとして作られたのが『アルパカナビ』です。『Alpine auto calculable Navigator』の略で『ALPACA NAVI』。全自動で登山者を目的地へ導きます。
※アルパカナビは生まれたてのヨチヨチ歩きです。しばらくはやさしく見守ってください。機能改善、コース追加、バグ修正は随時行なっていきます。

■使い方は簡単
１．アプリをインストールする。
２．起動したら『準備と計画』をタップ。
３．登りたい地域、山、コースを選んでダウンロード。
４．コースをダウンロードしたら、そのまま必要な地図のダウンロードが始まります。
５．準備が出来たら登山に出かけましょう。メニューの『案内』をタップすれば案内が始まります。
６．ゴールに着けば案内も自動で停止。歩いた記録はメニューの『記録』に入っています。
７．記録はメールやファイル共有アプリで送る事が出来ます。
簡単操作で、ちょうどいい感じにスマホが案内してくれます。
■ナビゲーション機能
・携帯圏外の山奥でもGPSは使えます。山奥でもどこにいるか一目瞭然です。
・目指す地点までの距離、標高差、時間を声で教えてくれます。
・コースから外れたら声で警告してくれます。
・自分でコースを作る事も出来ます。作ったコースファイルを仲間と共有できます。
■歴史
アルパカナビの源流は2010年に公開されたiPhone版『DIY GPS』。そこから生まれたのがiPhoneとAndroid両対応の『ジオグラフィカ』です。ジオグラフィカの機能をシンプルにまとめ、必要な機能を自動で連動させるアプリとしてアルパカナビが生まれました。
誰でも高度な機能を簡単に使える様に設計しました。
新しいけど歴史がある、それがアルパカナビです。
■対応機種
AndroidOS4.0以上を搭載したスマートフォン。GPS、加速度センサー、電子コンパスの搭載が必須です。
すべてのAndroid端末で動作を保証することは出来ません。機種の違いによっては、完全に動作しないかも知れません。まずは動作を確認して、気に入ったらアプリ内課金で『機能制限解除』を購入してください。
2012年以前発売などの古い機種はあまり性能がよくありません。GPS精度が悪い端末では精度の悪い位置情報しか判りません。可能なら新しめの機種(2014年モデル以降)をお使い下さい。Android端末は機種によってGPS精度が違いますので、レビューなどを調べて精度が高い機種を選んでください。GPS精度が悪い機種だと、当然アプリで表示される位置にも誤差が出ます。
■アプリ内課金
インストールと試用は無料ですが、一部機能に制限があります。
・制限内容
コースのダウンロード数は20本まで。
トラックのエクスポートは機能制限解除が必要です。
設定画面にあるバックアップ機能を使うには機能制限解除が必要です。
他に制限はありません。設定の機能制限解除からアプリ内課金をしていただくと、制限が解除されます。アルパカナビを気に入りましたら、課金をよろしくお願いいたします。
■よくある質問と回答
Q.コースとかいいからGoogleMapみたいに自由に使いたい。
A.そういう使い方には『ジオグラフィカ』が合っています。ジオグラフィカをお使い下さい。
Q．現在地が表示されない。
A．GPSが無効になっていると現在地の測位は出来ません。端末設定の『位置情報サービス』で高精度をオンにしてください。また、屋内や地下ではGPS衛星による測位が出来ないため位置情報に誤差が生じます。屋外で使用してください。
Q．スピーチ機能が英語をしゃべる、もしくはしゃべらない。
A．端末設定の『言語と入力→テキスト読み上げの出力』が英語になっているのかも知れません。日本語の音声エンジンを選んでください。または、GooglePlayでN2TTSをインストールしてください。各種日本語音声エンジンから好きな声を選べます。
