Katakana Memory Hint [English]

Please make it so that during the quiz it doesn't tell you what the character mnemonic is after you select the correct answer. Quiz > any option > select correct answer for ki you are then told how to remember ki, which slows everything down dramatically... Please make it so we can turn this of. I want to select ki then move to the next question.

It doesnt give reasons behind the associations between the mnemonics and the character they represent. How am I supposed to remember that "ice cream" represents the "a" character? The mnemonics make no sense to me and therefore adds a layer of confusion to the learning.

I really love it. It helps me a lot! Well, I recommend you download this app if you are learning Katakana! It helps me to memorize the words better. Just ignore the negative comments...

Pictures are there to help you figure out the pronunciation. A sounds like first sound in ICE, KA is like CO-W and so on

After download icon is the wrong one (hiragana instead katakana). Its a nice app.

Super nice and easy mnemonics, I ended up remembering many of the Hiragana version of the app when I came back to try to learn seriously almost a year later with no between practice.

Ignore the negative comments. Mnemonics are very brainy and fun.

Very helpful, I learned katakana quickly using this. Some of the imagery is so creative and funny, it really sticks in your head. The hiragana memory hint app is great as well.

Incredibly efficient ! Just think aout the image associated with the katakana once in a while to reactivate it in your mind. A web ap would be really great.

By far the best app for learning Katakana. I procrastinated for months and months to finally learn it and this app made it way easier than expected. In a matter of hours I could remember all the katakana. Definitely will continue to study with it and recommend it to others.

I have concentration issues and this learned me all the first katakana in a few minutes! Will definitely not uninstall this from my phone ^_^ now just to go find the one for hiragana!
