誰かが、遠くの山を指して質問された事がありませんか？
そんな時「さぁ・・・分からない・・・」と諦めていませんでしたか？

そんな時、遠くに見える山の名前を知ることが出来れば...。

こんな時にカメラをその山にかざすだけで山の名前を表示する便利なアプリを作りました。
このアプリは見ている山の名前の表示をGPSとコンパスを使って行ないます。
デバイスのカメラに山の位置をオーバーレイさせ、山の名前と標高と山頂までの距離を表示します。

国内のあらゆる名山・名峰が網羅された「山溪カラー名鑑 日本の山1000」で紹介されている1000山をベースに、日本山岳会編の「日本300名山」及び岩崎元郎氏の「新百名山」を加えた山のデータを収録した山座同定(さんざどうてい)アプリです。

山座同定とは、展望できる山の名称を地図(地形図)や方位磁針などの使用によって明らかとすることですが、このアプリさえあれば「あの山の名前は?」と思ったときに、カメラでかざしてみれば遠くに見える山々の名前が一望できます。
