ForkHub for GitHub for Android
Unwieldy if you have too many repos, but otherwise an excellent client.
The app is view only. In short you can log into your git hub account from this app and see what else you see in the browser but you can't edit or commit anything, even less functionality than the browser. I'm giving it 4 stars just for the ease of access and better view than the mobile site of github and it really smooth at its work.
This is the best GitHub app I've found. It just works and gets me around efficiently and fast. Look no further for a GitHub client.
Thanks so much! Been using it for long time.
The same I have on the mobile website... Would be nice if you could add file creation, upload, edition...
Love the app! If there was any way to edit files it'd be perfect.
Good app!
Good. Works well. No problems at all. Thanks!
Great app.
Great app
Useful
This is the best of the github apps I tried. Still could use some improvements though. For instance, it would be nice if when I click on a commit referenced from an issue, it actually linked to the commit so I could view it. Also, I'd like to be able to sort issues by recent activity. Still, when I'm not on my computer, this app works better than the web site for checking recent github activity. So I appreciate you making it. Thank you. Update: The latest version has added quite a few nice features, including my above requests. It also has a smoother feel to the navigation than it used to. Upgrading my rating to 5 stars. :)
Great productivity tool. It's no GitHub Web, but who wants that in <6"? It supports organisations, and I now get a lot of code reviews done on my commute, and I have ForkHub to thank!
The app doesn't seem OAuth. That's a non-starter. The personal access token bit is better than nothing, but still too clunky (vs. OAuth).
Please fix freezing when loading large files
I like it.
Works perfectly. Kudos
While it's true this app is a successor to the old abandoned official Github app this one also lacks much needed support for managing Pull Requests unless I missed something. Without PR support to me it really only tapped into a minor part of it's full potential. Once PRs are fully supported I am more than happy to award it its fully deserved 5 star rating. Until such a time sadly a 4 star rating it only is. Edit: Weird, screenshots show what looks like PR support but unable to find such feature in the app. Some help, please.
The app let you check everything from github, to keep track of your branches and repositories. Fast and easy
Very useful, could be faster, freezes and crashes sometimes especially for very large files, PR handling could be better
This app is very useful, but still one suggestion:pls let us edit the gists
Does the job of facilitating browsing Github. Would like to see starred repos better organized.
Grate for github acces to my repo and see anothers..
Would have been great if it showed README on opening a project
Use it everyday!
It's just awesome! Great for interacting with contributors when I'm away from my computer. Simple and elegant.
Has potential
No way to edit files and no way to do code review. Basically the two things I might do on-the-go.
You should have a readme tab on the repos like pockethub and the styles should look more like githubs. But at least you show ALL my repos unlike pockethub
Dark theme, please!
How do I log out or change users?
Works well.
Excellent github client
This is a great GitHub client for Android. It includes all the necessary features, and is regularly updated. The design and UX are very well-done. It doesn't let you commit to a repository, so it is more of a browser than a full client.
Could not merge PR
Issues with 2 login factor. I will give 5 star if the app can see the wiki pages.
I'm already loving this app for allowing me to use a Personal Access Token as my password. Security is vital to me and I appreciate their app working with measures provided by GitHub to me as a customer. Looking forward to seeing how it handles notifications and pull requests!
The UX for this app is great. If you have been accessing GitHub via mobile browser, give this little app a try. It works as you expected!
You know what would be really cool? The repo branch visualiser thingie from the desktop app
