Habit Browser

Excellent, but with minor flaws. Mostly well designed. ―― So highly configurable to make it one's own. ―― Bookmarks filter search is great. Managing bookmarks is inefficient (mostly, too many touches), but works fine otherwise. ―― Some settings' implications are difficult to understand. Some settingsoptions are hard to locate among the many pages.

Looks like dev stopped supporting the app... PREVIOUS REVIEW: Finally a developer who doesn't pretend to know what's best for me! This browser offers customisation in pretty much all the meaningful ways, and it's almost guaranteed you'll find one combination that suits you. On top of that the app runs efficiently although it has quite a few flaws. E.g., videos on certain sites don't work while they do in other browsers, and many options (like forced draw) either don't do anything or their descriptions are just too confusing to explain what they actually do.

BEST browser. Have used MANY, but none come close. Only three things missing, which would make it perfect (1) Desktop mode (2) Option to open all links in new background tabs (like Maxthon & Dolphin) (3) Inverted rendering doesn't work as well as on other browsers (like Yandex & Peregrine) on some sites such as Google (hides result addresses), Engadget homepage etc.

A question for fellow users... I can't download anything with it. Is there a setting I'm missing? The developer seems to be MIA. Can anyone help? I want to continue using this browser but don't know how to fix. Thanks in advance!

It's a great browser but has one BIG problem. During use it keeps going to an "item not found" notice on a 'play store' screen. Sometimes several times a minute. I need to press back to go back to the browser. Why does it do this?

This app is broken in 7.0 Nougat.Traditonal /storage/emulated/ pathways no longer work, so it is not possible for this app to interact with any files in storage - including backup/restore function. This is a very srrious dealbreaker. Please fix

DOESN'T SAVE MY TABS AND LOGIN?? AFTER EXITING?? Not running in the background please fix only reason I use the browser. Adblock plugin that actually works else I'll be changing browser soon, lag a bit get snappy. IPhone mode should play all video's full screen else I having to keep changing user agent. UTTERLY BRILLIANT BROWSER! I love the many options to customize. Fast and takes up little memory. Took me less than 5 minutes to decide this was the browser for me! Kudos to the developer! Donation sent. :)

Can't import settings any longer. File pathways are broke. Please fix this was my favorite browser.

Still no other browser compares in customizability. I appreciate the built-in reverse image search function, bottom navigation bar (though you can move it to the top if you like), tab functionality, and minimal crashing. Docking two stars for rendering issues that Chrome breezes through, and for randomly disappearing tabs!

Downloading not working for me. I always have to use Chrome or Puffin for downloading. Went over to suggested forum but doesn't seem to be any support?

please save new tabs to file so it can be restored next time, im losing some tabs after closing and reopening the app. also pls code func to export /save all current tabs.

This app is sometimes slow, but what hurt me was the speed dial doesn't work. They have dismantled from the jump. Tried everything.

It is fast and and nicely configurable. It stopped showing that annoying security warning

You need to wait for it to load it's ads when you open the browser otherwise it will lock up and crash.

There is no better browser to be found.

Downloading of videos failed...any solution plz

Configure it correctly, bottom tabs, pop up menus, and it is the best browser there is.

I can't get the blacklist to actually block anything. It says it's added to the list and then nothing changes.

I love options a there a lot of them.. You don't like this or that.. Just change it, you can...

with so many functions you can set this browser as you like, just like Fx on PC.

Can't download images, it just says "download failed". Cannot switch download directory either.

Great browser, only one that makes browsing on my phone just as comfortable as on desktop. Only problem is sometimes after crash it doesn't remember my tabs... Can someone tell me where tab info stored so I can at least backup it manually?

This WAS my default browser but after today's update I cannot type or upload photos to ANY media site so have got to find another browser. Please fix, Samsung Galaxy S5 Marshmallow, Thanks, Stephanie

The ads don't really bother me but I donated as a gesture of appreciation. Hope for more bug fixes and features.

Used to be the best browser by miles, but now I can't even open it without it crashing. Latest update didn't fix it either. :-(

Most customization. A few bugs but been using it for years. Haven't found anything better.

If we cannot use @match or @require, how is it supposed that we should invoke jQuery or even target the website we want to work on?

Excellent but read it later no longer working in my Note3 Android 5.0 which didn't allow writing to SD card. Could you please advise how to grant Habitat browser the right to write to SD card
