学生時代は野宿とヒッチハイクで旅をする元バックパッカー。付き合う男性もダメンズばかりで２４歳から４年間彼氏出来ない時期を過ごす。２８歳までは毎日ほぼノーメイクで化粧ポーチすら持ったことが無いダメ女。
このままでは一生彼氏が出来ないと気が付き、恋愛について本気で考え実践と失敗を積み重ねて、成功する恋愛ノウハウを習得。３０歳目前でモテ期を迎え、数多くの男性ファンを持つ。

1975年生まれ、東京都出身。
大学卒業後、秘書や人事労務業務に従事。退社翌日にメイク学校に入学。在学中に、コーセー化粧品販売株式会社に入社し、銀座三越店にて美容部員を経験。2005年に「ひよっこメイクドットコム」を立ち上げ起業。
個人レッスン、コスメコンシェルジュ（コスメアイテムの買い物同行／代行）、企業研修、イベント等でメイク講師のキャリアを積む。
2010年、「１人でも多くの女性が、朝が訪れるたびに、ますます美しい自分と出会えるように」という思いでビジネスネームを「朝美」と名付け、「プレシャスグロース」を立ち上げる。朝、目覚めるたびに、思わず自分にときめいて、もっと自分のことを好きになれるような、心も顔も上向きになれる好印象メイクを提唱し続けている。
