Action Cam App

Waitting for updatе. PS dear Sony that is not serious! It is ridiculous that the flagship phones are not yet supported. We do not buy camera in 2014 but mid of 2016!!! When do you plan to support android 6, at the end of its life cycle? New camera with no soft... what a mess

As said before, the biggest absence is that of basic transitions as fade. It freezes when i edit videos that originally exceed 40mins of footage. Details of videos such as length and size wont show when importing from as200, while they do on previous cam models. The new intro-outro is comical, we can only choose from black/white as50 while most are still using the older cams and even that is shown as close to cgi rather than the actual look of the as50.

High difficulty connecting to a Z5! NO DIRECT LINK TO LIVE STREAMING. Whilst camera connected to Z5 via WiFi there's no mobile data possible to transmit anything! NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING FROM SONY. Perhaps they don't want to lead in the market place. CAN'T RECOMMEND SONY ACTION CAM DUE TO POOR APPLICATIONS. THE DEVICE IS NOW GATHERING DUST, UNUSED. POOR SHOW SONY, EXPECTED MUCH BETTER.

It only exports to 30 or 60 fps making it pointless to have a PAL setting and frame rate on the camera. I would rather shoot ntsc in a country with a 50hz power frequency than converting the frame rates. What where they thinking? I will change the rating to 5 stars if ther fix this.

So I haven't used the app in a while but decided to do so today. Come to find that after connecting to my camera, I can't import any thing. The app doesn't see any of the videos. Because of this, I can't tell if they have allowed imports to go directly to SD cards (prior complaint). Either way, disappointed with what I'm seeing here from Sony. At this point, my expectations of Sony has hit an all time low. SmartWatch 3 doesn't support 2.0. Z5 phones finally getting their 7.0 update after Sony pulled it for a glitch, and their general negligent behavior to their customers. I used to be a Sony fan, and I'm always constantly reminded why I should look elsewhere for electronics. I'm breaking up with you, Sony. I'm sorry; it's not you, it's me. I had unrealistic expectations and that's just unfair to you. Take care and have a nice life.

Can't create time lapse video using sony z3 android 6.0. I just bought sony x3000 r and try to edit the time lapse but this app really disappointed me

simple and clear design, stable and does its job quickly and cleanly. However the output is too compressed and depending on footage, too splotchy = low quality. needs export bitrate/quality options.

The app tells me that my videos transferred from my camera (X3000) to my cellphone, but the videos dont show up in action cam app. However I am able to view the videos via Android Gallery App. Quality Assurance??

How can a great camera have such terrible software support. Very disappointed!!!

Crashes so much hardly usable. Needs basic transitions and basic text overlays. That's a you need on a mobile video editing app.

I try import video theh save 720 & 1080. After that upload to facebook my video legging stuck like u wacthing old video tape.

Camera updated to necessary firmware. Force closes upon connection. Pointless.

Nothing like the PC app. Pure garbage. Need a lot of improvement!

This is the only android editing app that can render in 1080p 60 fps. All the others only allow 30fps. One easy enhancement is to include the file name when importing into a project. When having many small clips of sports action they are getting mixed up and I can't tell the proper order. This app allows a workflow that does not use a computer. Transfer to phone over WiFi, edit and upload directly to YouTube. It works with Sony recorded xavc s video so I import also from my camcorder using otg.

the app freezes a lot, it has problems loading pictures from the camera. sometimes time lapse clusters are shown, more often they are not......

Hardware seems good, but with no viewfinder, app support is essential.

Are you serious Sony? I just bought a brand new X3000 and this app doesn't work at all. It can't even connect to my Pixel XL. Get with the program. For God's sake, you guys make Android phones. Basura!

Love this app. I go to setting in my phone to connect to my camera in WiFi. Select my camera Wifi using camera password. I'm linked to my camera now through wifi. Then record a few video with camera already. Select this sony action cam app while link to my camera to see all my videos. Able to download video to my phone from camera. Thank you Sony!

Wish I didn't spend so much money on this knowing I cant do shit with videos :(

Whenever I try to save one of my videos it doesn't work and says error

Connects to camera, shows thumbnails and then crashes. Galaxy S6 Edge + AS100V

Lacks file names. Can see time, size, length and thumbnail but no file name. Need to transfer the file I want to work on into another folder just to be sure I have the right one.

Pleaseeeee add the ability to rotate a video by 90 degrees. To output a video in vertical format for mobile phone, without black bars on the sides.. [Questionnaire]

Even with the latest update, the camera and phone never have, and I doubt they ever will connect.
