Kobo

I tried kobo after Google play book, because of a discount. All in all, the books are readable in kobo, but it is a lot less user friendly than Google play. Kobo takes a long time to load, and becomes unresponsive when downloading new books. I was also confused for the longest time on how to turn pages. It is easy to know how far in a chapter I am, but I still haven't figured out how to know how far I am in the whole book. Hopefully later updates will address that.

Can't login. Password username are definitely correct because I can login on the web.What a load of rubbish.

There's no Japanese dictionary and no way to add one. Please add more dictionary to this!!

データ保存保存先の設定が無い。SDカードにデータ保存したい。タダになるクーポンがあったので一冊購入して見たがユーザーインタフェースも使いにくく、アプリ評価に値しない。

正しいIDとパスワードを入れてログインボタンを押すと真っ白の画面になりログインできない。電子書籍を購入済みなのですがこれは詐欺ですか？

本を見ようとすると落ちて見れない。

I didn't pick this on any merits of the app itself, but it has enough settings for my needs. Kobo is my e-bookstore only because it is in the Rakuten ecosystem so I can buy books with points instead of spending actual money. This is a good place to use points that would otherwise expire without having to spend extra money on shipping.

Reading books no longer works on Android N.

ＫＯＢＯのすごいのは本の値段だけで他に特別にすぐれた機能はない。最低限本が読める機能しかない。他社のアプリが優れて始めて機能のアップに投資するような体質が使っていると明らかになってくる。

Android端末に落としたデータはSDカードへ移動できず、端末メモリを圧迫する最悪の作り。の特に改善をする気配もなく。。。未完成アプリの為、現時点では評価に値しないと考えます。データ保存についての質問を上げている方が沢山いらっしゃるようなので、コメントを残す意味で書かせていただきます。ご参考になれば。。。

The app is beautiful, simple, and easy to use. I love the new text magnification feature for manga. No more zooming in and out of comics just to read the text! It's brilliant!

Love it. The UI/UX is superb. Easy to manage the library and very large collection of books. Its Reading view is better than other apps I tried. Can sync my books between my Android phone and Kobo Glo HD on the fly. I also use this app on my iPad.

I started reading books on the way to work using Kobo. Found books are more entertaining than the random webpages I used to check. Happy to have rediscovered how awesome books are. Go Kobo!

Great app. Easy to use. But wish it was easier to pay using credit on account. It's annoying to have to go online to pay that way. I also wish that my Rakuten Account and original Kobo account were able to be integrated...

I cant play embbed audio file in epub style book. I was using english ver of this and was able to do it, that was great. With Japanese au android , I can only download and use this rakuten kobo, it is poor. Maybe old program or downgraded? Do somebody know the good epub reader?? I need this feature for studying English.

I didn't like the left side menu. Its too old, I think the old kobo app UI was much better!

Kobo flashes on and off and then just disappears -- and then reappears. Android 5.0 on Nexus 7 2013.
