In prior versions of Android, a very simple but functional sound recording application was supplied with the operating system. Access to this function was removed from Jelly Bean. This wonderful free app brings it back -- no ads, no features to have bugs, just a wrapper. If you're just looking for a simple sound recorder, install this for free and be done. THANKS MUCHLY pline.co.jp. One word of warning: the resulting audio files are placed under /sdcard, so you'll need a file explorer.
