The best Japanese keyboard for Android I have found yet! As other user says, very extensive! May be too much for beginner of Japanese language

Excellent japanese input. Very good voice recognition. Keep on going!

Elaborate and extensive. May be overwhelming to some users. A manual may be helpful. Need easier katakana access.

Painful converting the hiragana to kanji; you have to convert after every word (ie. Cannot type "なんです" & conv "なん"to "何"). Simeji & OpenWnn better.

I like this IME better than the others available, but wish forming kanji was less diffucult. Most of the time it doesn't even give an option.

Requires an annoying second download of dictionaries to use kanji unlike alternatives OpenWnn and Simeji.

still need some basic wording to be converted to kanji easily, but overall this app is convenient to use．

I would love it if I could make kana to kanji conversion work. I tried both hardware ALT key and Conv software key. Nothing worked.

I hv been using this app for 2 yrs & am v satisfied on my HTC Desire. Recently after I changed to Samsung Galaxy SIII i9300, I hv problem downloading the dictionaries. Can the developer comment & help me with a solution bcos this is the best jap keyboard app ever!　おねがいします。ありがとうございます。

This is a great app recommended

When I enter text in a blank space using Kaede IME, as soon as I enter the first letter or character, it automatically inserts the last text I entered. This forces me to stop and erase that text and then start again. That's irritating and a real time waster. Hopefully, this behavior can be corrected or I'm going to have to hunt for a better Japanese IME.

Takes some time getting used to. Also doesnt register "tsu" for some reason and just writes it in roomaji. Please fix

It gets the job done, but not as useful as the native input methods on phones purchased in Japan. I wish I'd brought my phone when I moved.

This IME is slick, professional, loaded with features, and yet easy to use. If you are looking for a Japanese IME for Android, this is a must have.

Great app! Pretty extensive dictionary and has radical look up

It works and it is really good, But it is a little bit hard to use, also where on earth is the "母" kanji? I had to use the chinese keyboard to write it down!!!

Messy interface. Confusing to configure. There are much simpler keyboards out there.

If it were bug free and some cosmetical errors are fixed, then it is a very usable way. My gripes: It sometimes removes text I input (few characters only). Delete key does not work as expected using the hardware keyboard. Default keyboard is always hiragana (layout is fine, but conversion is always hiragana mode, although I would prefer alphabet more. Entering caps via shift key on the soft keyboard is broken. Hardware keyboard expects shift+key, so I need 2 fingers to type caps chars.

I don't know how to set up on the keypad. Does it pop up automatically?

I love it but every time I try to type a new sentence the previous one pops up and I have to erase it : (

Very slow and cumbersome converting to Kanji. I suggest OpenWNN instead which supports Romaji input when phone is landscape.

Good,but large size ,apps 2 sd is better.
