LUMIX LINK

This app has worked great on my Galaxy Nexus, but since I changed my phone to Moto G 3rd generation, it is not working anymore. I get the connection screen until the the camera displays connection error

Lumix Link works great on my Lenovo A6020a40 phone running Android 5.11 but it doesn't work on my Lenovo TB3 850F tablet running Android 6.0 which is a pity. Could Panasonic release an update, please?

Works great as a remote trigger for my GH3, but leaves much to be desired when it comes to adding GPS data. GPS implementation needs to be greatly improved. Update: App needs to be updated to work on the current version of Android.

Just plain doesn't work anymore. Tried everything and it doesn't connect my phone to the camera - did work back in 2013 so guessing the software needs updating!

Get Lumix Link from iTunes and use it on an IOS device. It's flawless like using IOS devices to run music app via voice control. My Samsung S6 connects via wifi, but then drools on itself while the camera times out and the Samsung S6 goes to sleep. The App can not connect My Samsung S6 to my Panasonic GH3. I have been at this for hours, and have made this work on an iPod Touch as well as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. It works in seconds with an iPod Touch, flawlessly in fact. So the issue is either with the phone, or the app. Since the phone connects to the wifi of the GH3, it's obviously the android Lumix Link app that fails here. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and rebooted the S6... Fail. I got the S6 for a decent screen to use Lumix Link, an app that refuses to function on my S6, which makes the phone purchase infuriating, but mostly in this regard, and that music apps are under par as compared to apple. (as a PC user I have no bias toward apple, just stuff that actually works.)

This app is so outdated, compatible with Android 4.0... You gotta be kidding me. Does not work with Android 7.1.2, please update the software for god sake!

It doesnt connect to my phone at all. It keeps on loading until the connection cuts off by the camera on its own. This feature of wifi connection from phone to the camera is the reason i bought my lumix in the first place and it doesnt work.

To be in 2016 and have this much trouble connecting an electronic device (Panasonic GH3) with a smartphone app (on an LG G4) is simply unacceptable. The function of the app is fine, but it's useless if it's frustrating every time you try to connect. I know technology and how to connect things, but this app sucks at it. Panasonic needs to at least pretend to care and step it up, or not bother offering the features on their phones.

The app doesn't work on my Galaxy S7 edge and GH3. Seems the app isn't compatible with Android 6 and above. Panasonic does have another app that works with the GH3, the Panasonic Image App.

It doesn't work with GH3 v1.2 on Nexus 6 Android 6.0

It used to work and I could control my camera remotely. I'd use it with the camera on a crane or Jib. Now I can't it's crippling for professionals relying on your gear when you don't update software.

It does not work on Samsung Note II. Not even recognizes that wifi is ON.

It won't connect to the camera, so it's basically useless. You would think a company this size would have the resources to make a decent, and working, app.

Since I updated to Android 6 I can't connect to my GH3. This was one of my favorite features of the cameras but now it's not even a feature. I love my Linux gear but the lack of response from Panasonic is completely disappointing.

Takes so many attempts to get a connection between my phone and my GH3 that it's far quicker to take out the SD card and put it in my laptop. Pathetic app, Panasonic

Dear Panasonic, please update this app for the dedicated customers who brought cameras like the GH3, GX7 or other cameras. The wifi capabilities are now unuseful since Android updated to 6.0.

This app fails to connect to my GH3 every time I try to use it even though I've successfully connected via WiFi/WiFi Direct.

The wifi on the Galaxy S7 says it's connected to the GH3 but when I open the the Lumix link software the connection fails. Very sad it worked with my old phone.

It does not support android 6, so I cannot control my GH3 anymore. Please update!

Doesn't work at all. It's a crime that it's even for sale. Panasonic techs concur. Don't buy a Lumix zs60 if you ever want to xfer pics via wifi.

I can't believe the last time this was updated was 2013. I says it supports Android 4. We are at Android 6!!! Come on Panasonic, do something!

Does not connect to Android 6.0 devices, but will connect to older Android devices. (Nexus 5)

You should really look into this app and redo it from scratch. Look at Sony app and get a grip. Do full screen. Why it stop working when video recording? Why can't control camera, shoot with camera and download pix from the same place. Just have to connect through different connection depend what I want to do. Do you actually read reviews?

It works now on Android 5, which is great. Still a few hiccups and crashes

Nfc useless just like other panasonic app,

GX7 and Lollipop LG G2 crashes a lot.

Crashes after a couple of seconds on OnePlusOne. Unusable.

I wanted to be able to have a bigger viewfinder, but on my huge Note 4, the viewfinder is SMALLER than the screen on the camera. Add a FULL SCREEN MODE and I will 7 star it ;)

Its a great tool if you don't have a field monitor for the camera when its on a drone or a crane. I wish the app can allow you to stop recording remotely. It can only start recording remotely
