"Optia Viewer" enables users to operate other devices running "Optia" remotely by viewing other smartphone's screen.
Optia is the first-ever app to enable remote support between smartphone users. With Optia, smartphone owners having trouble figuring out how to use a particular feature or app on their device can simply enable screen-sharing and remote operation with family and friends, and get real-time instructions from a trusted source, as if they were right in front of you. It’s both simple and secure.
“Optia” is currently available on some models of GALAXY series made by Samsung.

- It is NOT possible to connect between smartphones installed with "Optia Viewer"
## Cautions

The app would not connect to any device, throwing up an error. I also found that after I had installed it, I no longer had to enter my lock screen pattern or had a lock screen at all (on two separate devices). Just straight into the home screen.

What's the point of having a viewer when you can't do anything anyway? The other versions of the app is only for galaxy devices except nexus. And, it still doesn't work. Never connects. This should be branded as alpha software and more transparency about why only galaxy devices.

This seems like such a great app but since it doesn't work on any of my devices so I cannot evaluate it. I've tried it on a Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 both running 4.2.2 and a Droid RAZR MAXX running 4.0.4 and every time I get the same response, "Support host is not available." I'll be watching out for updates in the hopes that the app will be fixed and I can use this to support my family members from afar.
