A watch face for Interstellar travellers, created under the supervision of Newton Science Magazine.
As your speed of travel accelerates towards the speed of light, Einstein’s special law of relativity causes time to begin slowing down. Interstellar Watch Face calculates the delay and tells you the time back on the earth.
From the menu page, you can choose from five speeds of travel: 99%, 99.9%, 99.99%, 99.999% and 99.9999% of the speed of light. The bottom right of the display shows how much faster time is moving on earth, which will range from seven to 707 times depending on the speed of travel you have chosen. The bottom left of the display shows which celestial objects you are approaching, and your distance from the earth.

Fun idea, but not a lot of customization settings (not even to take it out of 24 hour time and put it into 12 hour time). Also, hiding notifications on dim mode would be a nice setting to add.

I like it but would enjoy the earth time on a second swiped screen so that the main watchface shows date time battery use and pedometer

Really pretty watchface with superb legibility, as well as black background that is great for extending the battery life of OLED watches. However, the time displays seem like a missed opportunity: If we could set the two clocks to show different international times instead of the theoretical time dilation of a distant system, the watch would instantly become a top notch face for everyone, instead of a gimmick that brings little practicality.

I've had this watch face running for about 3 weeks at the 99% speed of light mode, and the face is telling me I've already traveled .389ly. That can't be right; over one-third a light year in three weeks traveling at .99c? At that speed, it should be something like 4 months. Just saying. I'd rate higher if it were more accurate.

I love finding creative new ideas for watchfaces, well done! My only suggestion would be to keep some color in ambient mode. Just keep the outer line markings blue even, as going totally black and white is kinda boring.
