Smareco DIARY

Smareco DIARY App. is a pocket diary-connected application by which you can easily digitize hand written schedules and memos.
*This application is to be used with smareco DIARY, a product of Nakabayashi Co Ltd available in the stores.

Features
It automatically trims and reshapes the shot image, and adjusts color and brightness.
It recognizes the date printed or written on a page by OCR.
Memos can be linked to particular date on the calendar.
You can type short comments onto each memo.
You can save the images in JPEG, PNG or PDF, and send them by e-mail or upload to Evernote.
You can put hand drawn lines or shapes onto the shot image.
You can add a title, tag and comment to each shot memo images so that you can easily find and organize them.


Instructions

To shoot the calendar
Run the camera on the calendar screen.
Select the type (size) of the book you are about to shoot.
Shoot the left page first, then right page next.
It combines two pages automatically, recognizes the month/year information, and save it in proper chronological order.

To shoot the memo page
Run the camera in memo list screen.
Select type (size) of the book you are about to shoot.
Shoot a memo page. (you can save the memo pages separately by marking a dividing mark on the right side)
It automatically recognizes the date information and connects the memos to proper date of the calendar.

Editing the memo pages
You can add a title, tag or comment to each memo image so that you can easily find and organize them.
You can put hand drawn lines onto the images.

Practical use
When a memo image is linked to the calendar, a blue point is attached onto the date of the calendar. You can open the image by tapping the marked date on the calendar.
If you add a comment to a date, a red point appears on the date and you can check the contents by tapping the marked date.
Memo images can be uploaded easily to Evernote. (you have to complete account setting beforehand)



Notice
*To get good shot image, press and stroke the bound part to open the notebook completely flat.
*Position your phone as the corner marks on a page are certainly placed inside of the guideline.
*Face the camera straight to the page, and shoot under sufficient brightness.
*Try to exclude other objects from the pictured area.
*Dirt or drawing around the corner marks may cause improper operation.
*To draw numbers onto OCR area, use black ballpoint pen and trace the guide grid.
