This is a great app. It plays 3d videos that you have downloaded and it plays them well. It does correct the aspect ratio from anamorphic to 16x9 so the aspect ratio is displayed correctly instead of tall an skinny (Anamorphic). What it does not do and I wish it did, is play top/bottom videos, and it does not have a swap left/right function as well, don't get that confused with the mirror button, all that does is flip both sides of the video, so everything is backwards, I am still trying to understand what I would use that for. This app can also play youtube videos by using Google search and then selecting the video Google search found, then Google search will ask you what player you want to use to play it with and then you select 3D Viewer, and once again it will correct the aspect ratio for you. I really like this app because it never crashes and it does what it was designed to do. So put that new VR headgear on and enjoy. I am using a ZTE n9810 phone.
