Makita Mobile Tools

This is a nice professional looking app. I wanted to use the decibel app to check some computer fan noise but unfortunately this tool just doesn't work. It looks like it is stuck in slow motion and doesn't want to move. Checked with a few other decibel apps and at least those seem to work. Other than the one tool I needed everything else looks nice. I hope they keep improving it.

You make really good tools and this is no way up to standard. Sorry to say it's a toy not a professional equipment. So in accurate level by eye is better. And the measure said my kitchen was 10 mtrs bigger. I wish. .

I would assume such corporation could not come with a toy like this. I think I know how it should work but I have no clue how it really does. Responses are very slow (sound meter), results extremely inaccurate (distance meter) and differences between short and long signs almost not identifiable (Morse code on flash light). Perhaps the level tool might be working if phone calibration was done properly before. Pity as the aim seemed to be nice...

Not a bad idea. Distance tool should probably instead offer some trigonometry calculations if the user enters height and distance, etc The flashlight tool should work with the camera LED as well as the screen. Maybe add a magnifying tool - use the camera (plus maybe the torch) to zoom in on those small labels on products power ratings etc.

Application works well simple effective for required jobs well done delvopers.

On my phone the bubble level works well, I like the zero lock on it, might be useful at some point. The morse code on the flashlight could be good in an emergency. Leveling instrument gives rough idea (picture hanging?). The other tools are either redundant (battery) or mostly useless. I.e. inaccurate sound & complicated / inaccurate distance, meters.

I would give it 5 stars if there was a choice between metric and standard measurements.

On Android 6, Moto G4, and the app doesn't work at all. The torch feature uses the screen which is a bit daft!

The flashlight is the only useful tool The sound level meter reads 68 db. in a completely quite room. Distance measured is totally out of calibration and reads differently each and every time at the exact same distance. The level isn't even that accurate. The only good thing about this app is that it was free.

Nice app, levelling tools and flash light are great but the other features seem experimental. Distance measure gives random results and the sound level tool seems to read 68 decibels for everything.

It works ok. I like the sound meter the best.

It needs work on db meter lags and updates slowly, distance measurement not very accurate. Other instruments are working perfectly. Hope to see a fix soon so I can use it effectively with my makita tools.
