KORG Kaossilator for Android for Android
where are my loops from the looplist saved?
The most fun you can have with MUSIC and TOUCH SCREEN.
Get it!
I love this app even better than the hardware versions. Zero load time between loops makes this a beast. very very deep app. Unlimited loops.. all sorts of tricky ways to change the bpm.. load in sound files.. save jams to file.. sick colors bouncing across ur screen. It takes allot of practice to hit notes you want to hit.. I love the hardware but I also absolutely love this app. Chord why don't you make a midi cable for smartphones and build in support to this app that would be amazing Worth every penny. Runs Flawless on my S7 Edge and S5
I've been waiting for KORG to bring their apps to Android for years, and I'm thrilled to see they finally made the jump. This app is the ALMOST perfect on-the-go sketchpad for musicians; the UI is clear enough for anyone who's used similar offerings from KORG elsewhere, the visual effects are nice eye candy, and it all sounds great. My only concern is lack of MIDI output. Seems like an important thing to leave out when even KORG's Nintendo 3DS apps have it. If MIDI output were patched in, then it would be truly perfect. I still recommend it as-is, however.
Fantastic! I've used the KO Pro in the studio, and like that unit, you can get lost in it... Only one thing... When I export to Google Play or elsewhere in my device, the app shuts down... Please fix...
Great fun. Good for quick inspiration and long subway rides. It would be better if there was note division gridlines on the pad. As it is right now, it's all pretty much accidental composition. And good app support too.
Seems to be a good app for me. I can creat new projects and save them aswell as mix them in and out with each other .great for house dub step o edm but at minamal i like makeing slow jams with this.all around good beat making mixing app for all genre's ,fivestar for me,.
Chaotic drum patterns. They seem to always swing out of control. It is very annoying and difficult to understand how to fix it. I couldn't. Would appreciate a refund.
I like it a lot. I wish there were separate volume controls for each track. And some control for movement. It's nice seeing each track's pot swinging around but it does not seem to indicate a parameter I can change. Other than that I love it.
This app crashes too much. Developer not addressing customer concerns or suggestions. Ok to play with when it works. With a little work, Korg could make it a viable piece of kit. I would love a refund.
Please label the controls. IOS version is wonderfully accessible with speech technology, I was surprised to find this app not to work at all. Literally nothing is labeled. Such a disappointment I really loved the iOS version. Please help?
Broken app. There's a weird glitch that saves what I'm working on over random older files, and erased my older work. It crashes a lot as well. The iPad version doesn't do this, can someone fix this or get me a refund?
I really like dig this app it's very fun fun to use. My only concern is that it automatically overwrites some of my saved loops with whatever my latest saved loop may be. To be more clear; it takes my most recent loop and it will replace some of my older loops so that I am not able to do anything with them, it's really frustrating!
Impossible to make anything cohererent with, and I'm a damn wizard with the hardware ko. This is a pale pale copy. Would love a refund.
This app is very good. It runs flawlessly and is very intuitive. The only things that are holding this back from a 5-star rating is the lack of MIDI output and the lack of export options that the iOS version has.
Exactly as your yellow brick but more powerful!! You can easy setup a 3 hr live session here and it will some awesome. It has 5 channels you can pattern and change sound. And save it for later used or mixed with a new set of 5 sounds and patterns. This app really works as the hardware version. Totally worth the dough!!
The main issue with this app is the features its lacking. The online component is non-existent, the import export option are not there, no ablton live support. The interface is stretched wrong on my Galaxy s8, compared to my iOS version this app is useless
Being of a certain age and used to more conversational music I found this app excilerating. I'm now understanding the complex nature of this modern music. Well Done. I look forward to many hours of fun with this app.
I have the KO1 and KO2 and now I'm jam'n on my tablets. Doesnt get much better than this for creating fun music. Thanks Korg!!!
There is lag and I cant sync live playing with recorded. It must have the gate arpeggiator as the original one, to me that's a huge drawback!
I played with it. You can do some things with this app. On headphones this sounds great. Made something nice in 5 minutes. Worth the money.
Great little app for making loops and doing free-form music experimentation without all the rigid structure of something like Caustic. For $10, this is an easy decision to add this to your library of apps for making music on the go. I hope Korg brings more of their apps to Android. Pros: - Amazingly easy to make loops that sounds high quality - Beats are always on beat so when you touch around the touchscreen, your changing sounds are always on the beat - Good selection of pre-made tracks and built in sounds; plus the ability to externally load additional sounds Cons: - The app sometimes doesn't recognize where you a tapping on the screen and you get the tap from your last location for your next tap (I found this mostly when doing very fast taps) - Using a touchpad makes it easy to play around but it's hard to hit specific notes. (great for beats, not so great for instruments where you want specific notes) - Figuring out how to save (and not overwrite) can be confusing (I lost one of my favorite loops to this confusion) - No cloud syncing of what you have programmed (e.g. your other devices won't have the loops you've created)
There's a serious delay when playing the audio via Bluetooth. I'm not sure if that's something you can adjust
Laggy, crashes and no way to tell what note you're on.
Keeps stopping on the one count during recording input and all audio stops and I have to start again
About damn time korg. This is genuinely a great little ideas pallet and real fun to create with. Love it! ????
The beat part(red circle) doesn't work at the left edge for both android and ios.
This is one good app... Could use some UI improvement so switching stuff would be more fluid
What else. Was sonst. Wheres the kazoo? Buy more instruments? I know there are 1000s more....
It's the bombdiggety! it'll go swell with my Volcas, MicroKorg, Trons & Tribes! Fun off the cuff & uberlow latency; worth every penny :D
Great app! Can you guys produce apps based on your other real hardware synth like you done for Apple products please. Thanks.
Using a Note 3. The latency makes it useless.
It's everything i wanted to do and offers more ????????????????
