BacklightSwitch is an app that keep backlight when you want to see screen slowly.

Touch the status bar notification area, device screen keep backlight.

Running of the app selected by [Application select] will turn ON automatically.
This application is a free version.

Nice app..Why I give 4;not5?..beacuse Automatically backlight get off when u take off your screen even for one second;one option should add in app for someone who like me wanna their backlight 3keys always on when screen on;so now I have to press on every time I get my screen on!!

This used to work great. Updated my htc one m8 to lollipop and now I can't get it to switch on automatically any more

This app was working great until I update my Galaxy S4 to lollipop. After installing lollipop, it does not keep on the screen automatically for selected apps. However, it is possible to manually turn on the screen. Need urgent update to fix this issue. Cheers

I want back light to stay on while in music player, so I'd set it to my music player app but makes no difference! Can only be used for manual on, or off setting of the. Back light.
