■著者プロフィール
坂田信弘（さかた・のぶひろ）
1947年、熊本県生まれ。京都大学中退後、24歳でプロを目指し、74年に28歳でプロテスト合格。88年ナイジェリアで行われたアフリカ・サファリツアー、イバダン・サテライトトーナメントで初優勝。84年から本格的に執筆活動を開始。「週刊ゴルフダイジェスト」をはじめ各紙誌に鋭敏な観戦記、コラム、レッスン記事を発表すると同時にコミック誌にも原作者として多数の作品を発表した。また、全国でジュニア塾を主宰、短期間で世界レベルの選手を続々と輩出。ゴルフ場設計を手掛けたり、大学で教鞭をとるなど、その活躍ぶりは枚挙に暇がない。
