■著者プロフィール
杉山　通敬（すぎやま・みちひろ）

1935年（昭和10）８月28日、東京日本橋生まれ。國學院大卒。ゴルフダイジェスト編集長を経て42歳で独立後、フリーランスとして活躍。プロ・アマ問わず幅広く取材し、鋭い批評眼と深い洞察力に基づくゴルフ評論・著作を数多く残した。とりわけ中部銀次郎との親交はつとに知られ、本書のほか『中部銀次郎　新ゴルフの心』『中部銀次郎ゴルフの流儀』などを著している。2008年２月17日逝去。享年72。

1935 (1935) on August 28, Nihonbashi, Tokyo born. KuniManabuin college. After independence in the 42-year-old through the Golf Digest editor-in-chief, worked as a freelance. Widely interviewed regardless of professional and amateur, have left many golf critic-work based on the sharp critical eye and deep insight. Especially friendship with Central GinJiro is known early in life, are authored, such as addition of the book "Central GinJiro new golf of mind", "Central GinJiro golf of fashion".
