ピア・ニールソン

1958年、スウェーデン生まれ。74年から81年にかけてスウェーデンナショナルアマチュアチームのメンバーとして活躍。81年に米国アリゾナ州立大体育学部卒。83年から5年間は米国LPGAツアーに、87年から3年間は欧州女子プロツアーに参戦。通算8勝をあげる。
その後、一線を離れて96年からはスウェーデンナショナルゴルフチームのヘッドコーチに就任。アニカ・ソレンスタムをはじめ、世界に通用するトッププレーヤーを多く育てゴルフ王国スウェーデンの布石を築く。
