Canon CameraWindow for Android
IT is not connecting with my samsung j2 but i have tried several times but i failed i think that this canon company should see this problem with great care and should resolve this problem . After everything is good not so bad
Rubbish, waste of time, does not connect my ixus265hs with my up to date Nexus5
Doesn't work .
How to save the photo to mobile from camera using this app???
Thanks;good
Nice
No connection method works. Not wi-fi, not NFC. Has not worked from day one, and regardless of the upgrades to the app still never works. Dont sell functionality you cant support
With ELPH 130 IS and Asus TF10. Won't connect to camera at all now. App starts and refers immediately to new app Canon Connect which also doesn't connect. How else can i get my pics off over WiFi??
Worked before (on my old nexus 4)but does not to work on LG G3
The new app it keeps suggesting doesn't work for me, but this one does. Allows me to transfer photos directly from my camera to my phone, at which point I can edit and upload them online. I like that I can skip the step of using a computer if I just want to post a couple of pictures, and also that the camera can be its own access point if you're somewhere that doesn't have wifi. I love it.
App says camera is not connected & cannot view pics despite the fact that it IS connected via Wi-Fi.
Not working with lollipop. Please make it soon
Using the same camera this app works fine on Galaxy Nexus withJellybean but not on Nexus 5 with Lollipop. The camera's access point and the Nexus 5 can connect to each other but the app just freezes as soon as the connection is completed. Canon needs to fix this and also there should be a warning in the app's description in the Playstore. Canon, please fix.
CameraWindow worked well on my ancient Froyo Samsung Dart phone. So yes I know how to set up the app, But neither of your apps will work on my Tab 4 7.0"! Please make it compatible with my tablet!
Finally an update, maybe now the app will work on 5.0..... Down load the new app... And guess what, that doesn't work either! Come on Canon sort it out! Its such an awesome app yet fails to work on the latest platforms!!!
Such a pity this does not support video. Appears you can only trigger photos remotely so sadly not a lot of use to me :-( Please Canon update this app to support remote video :-)
My camera and phone are both connected to wifi but camera can't find the device and phone says camera isn't connected. Very frustrating.
It used to work just fine until you changed to camera connect. FIX YOUR MESS!

Don't bother downloading because it doesn't work. Says the camera is not connected when it is. Garbage.
App tells you to install new version after you install it. Lame. And other version doesn't work. Get with it canon
It connects fine but it can not copy or play video*(cameraWindow) I might as well swap sd card into my tablet or phone, much faster. Over 1 year and same shitty app(camConnect never worked, so i used CamWindow)
I think there is a compatibility issue. The new version of the app works well with my brand new SX60 HS but will not work at all with my G16, which is itself less than a year old. The old version, pre remote control, worked fine. The equivalent app on my sony just works and is easier to connect.
It works on my iPad but looks like there's a problem with android 5.0 (lolipop) on my Note 3, please update it and make it works on android...
back then i used it was fine. after install canon camera then install camera wc back, it cannot connect with my camera and a blank page when i open the app
you should on the wi-fI hotspot. it is really working. I can also save my pictures in Wireless.
After struggling for hours, I finally connected the app to my Canon Powershot Elph 340. 50 photo saves max. I wish you cpyld delete photos. Do not download the 'new version' of the app. A blank page opens.
Please update your app asap. It was working well until I updated my phone software to Android 5.
This ap was replaced by Cannon connect so get rid of this ap on your site already!!! I only tried this because CannonConnect did not work at all on my LG.
Got the Canon Elph 340 with NFC. My Droid Turbo has NFC, but this app NFC didn't work. Launches the app but can't connect to the photos. But, WiFi worked.
All a sudden can't connect to my note 4. But still be able to connect to my note 2.
You guys could try "Canon Camera Connect". It will work well as this old one. I'll delete this poor application.
This apps does not work on my Samsung note 4. Anybody can help
simply connects via wifi connection to the camera that allows you to transfer photos to your phone camera G 16.
It was working well before the upgrade. But no longer the case now. Can never be able to connect to the camera now
Stupid app doesn't work ever since I updated to lollipop. Please fix!
I've got the same problem as apparently everybody. This app just doesn't work. My phone is connected, but it tells me it isn't. I simply cannot understand how a huge company like Canon can ignore such an enormous problem. This function was the ONLY reason I bought this camera. Wish my Sony didn't break. Never had problems with their app.
Bought this camera based on reviews, RAW shooting abilities and remote shooting. It's not a cheap purchase and I researched this decision extensively. I don't care about transferring images from camera to phone...I only wanted what the description said... "remote shooting." So here's the good news: It will shoot remotely with your "Droid..no problem. You have a plethora of choices which include firing the shutter and zooming. ANY CHOICES you might have made to the camera beforehand like RAW or bracketing disappear AND you can only shoot in P mode. A JPG, is all you get, period. I guess the app is worth what I paid for it...nothing. Developers: Consider transferring full pre-set functionality to remote shooting and charge for it. I for one, will pay!

Can not connect to G7X with Android 7.0 installed on my (new) mobile. The camera sends out the Wi-Fi network signal, and I connect to that network with my phone, but when I open the software on the phone and try to download pics, it tells me that I need to "Operate the Camera to Establish a Connection." I can't connect. Moreover, operating the camera in any way at that point causes the camera to come out of Wi-Fi mode (disconnecting from my phone) and resume a normal shooting mode.
