About Canon Print Service
Canon Print Service is software that can print simply from the menus of applications that support Android's printing subsystem. It can print from smart phones and tablets using Canon printers connected to wireless networks.

If you are using a mobile terminal with Android 6 or earlier installed:
You need to activate the Canon Print Service for printing using it. The Canon Print Service is not activated immediately after installation. Activate it using one of the following methods.
- Tap the icon displayed in the notification area immediately after installation, and activate the service in the displayed settings screen.
- Tap [Settings] > [Printing] > [Canon Print Service], and activate the service in the displayed settings screen.
* If you are using a mobile terminal with Android 7 or later installed, the service is automatically activated after installation.

Absolute rubbish. Latest update won't even find my MG5350 when I specify its IP address, even while I'm browsing to its web interface! How can my browser see it no problem but, with no changes to my network infrastructure, this tool has managed to lose it. When it occasionally can see it, printing fails consistently. This has happened over the last 2 or 3 updates - before that it was only unreliable. UPDATE - I downloaded and installed the version 2.3 of this and managed to print straight away; Canon - what have you idiots done to screw this up?

This app cant find my mg7750 printer after waiting for ages. When i tried to specify the ip address manually, the keypad that appears for me to key in the ip addr has no fullstop. So i cant key in the ip addr. I cannot believe such app can pass Canon quality check. Totally useless n waste of time

I've revised my review since it works on Android 7.0 now. The Pixma MX870 has a problem where it needs to be restarted once in a while or it loses network connectivity.

I was so excited as I figured out how to get my texts to email so I can print it then printing it through this app the printer clicks starts working and is shooting 25 Pages through it nothing actually printed now I can't print because it says the printer is performing another operation!

Brand new iP7250 gets "the current settings are not supported by your printer"... every time. This flat out doesn't work.

With Samsung s7 edge it finds my printer lets me chose among the possible settings (Landscape, paper etc.) and when I try to print it fails every time with the usless message "Your printer does not support these settings". I toggled all the settings one by one and same. More specific message would be a lot more helpful and I might change my rating.
