SmartPhone Navigator for Android
Junk! Poor excuse for an app. It only exists so that Buffalo can say they have one. A 12 year old can design something better. You get what you pay for folks.
This thing never works. You need to reconfigure it every time you open it. Most of the time it wont even find the nas to configure it. Judging by all the other poor reviews and no attempt by Buffalo to fix it, I have little hope they will try and fix it anytime soon. Wish I would have bought another brand
Useless. Honestly ... Your NAS LS220DE is great but smartphone apps just useless and poor.
Waste of time. Constantly crashes. Useless
Absolute junk, just keeps crashing. What is the point of putting this rubbish out there?
This app will crash if you look at it wrong . It is without a doubt the worst piece of distended rectum meat to ever grace a phone . WebAccess works in a far better fashion and hasn't crashed once for me . This is about as much use as a chocolate teapot . Whoever wrote this should be taken outside and kicked to death by people wearing soft footwear.
It walks you through. The Web Access setup could not be easier.
I'm a tech guy. Couldn't make it work w/ my Nas TERA. Never a problem to access it w/ both my Pc&Mac. Called BUFFALO Tech support (never nice). Called my ISP (good). I double-checked everything. Should work.. Nope. App simply won't work. Lost 2 h. Disinstalled. Will change NAS...
Useless. It answers 'can't acces to internet' while I'm actually able to. I even am able to login as admin via browser by going to the ip of my NAS station. I cannot understand why the app respond as no connecting to internet. Useless.
I can browse my NAS, but what good is browsing 4 TB of data, when you need something right now?!
not able to find the nas ip address... useless apk.
Edited : good way to set a Buffalo account inside the nas
NAS not found. Finds it fine on my iPhone.
Dreadful
Exactly as the application for PC, the only purpose of this app is to open web browser with the device management page. Which us good looking, but terribly slow, and thus hell to work with. Deinstaling app, I am fully capable of remembering my own NASs IP. And even if I would not, a bookmark would do the same job as this app.

How do companies think this sort of rubbish is satisfactory what morons do they employ. Anybody working for this inept company should be ashamed of this excuse of an app
It works, if a little slowly, and does what it needs to do. Support took 2 days to tell me I was talking to US support and had to contact UK support.
The app seems to lack local NAS server access. Instead you need to use webaccess to view your files. Rather ineffective.
App detects my NAS, but is unable to interact with it. One star, since the app is useless to me if it cannot interact with or let me gain access to the NAS.

It's just not working
Their apps are a joke. Really. If you are looking for something with easy setup go elsewhere.
I just received my linkstation 220, and installed this app to set it up. And although it could see the device, it couldn't do anything to it. Tried on a few different devices before finding out it wasn't the app, it's the device went into emergency mode. The fix is to download the firmware updater, and reformat the disk. There are instructions on the web for this. Kinda disappointing that it has that problem out of the box for many people, but that's a different product review.

It used to work. Barely. But now, can't get it to work at all. Very poor.
Poor app ever, crash most of the time.
Just kinda hope more help links in english get put up because there are alot more details i would like to edit and understand the use of all the options.
Crash Crash Crash
terrible app. Does not work at all for me wiht my LS-CHL. Detects my nas drive but that is about it. Selecting NAS setup - get timeouts then the app locks up and I have to do a force kill. Select Browse and get message "Unfortunately SmartPhone Navigator has stopped" Completely useless - uninstalled.
It doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy S5. I have a LinkStation Pro Duo Model: LS-WV2.0TL/R1 With latest version of Firmware (Ver 1.69 ) I don't understand why the manufacturer released useless App. Please fix the problem. Thanks in advance.
Motorola Droid Maxx - The app doesn't see any of my supported NAS units. I can access shares via the WebAccess app though.
Keeps resetting my LS-WXL WebAccess Settings
No support for WoL, bummer.
App crashes when connecting to nas. Also says upnp not configured, despite showing in router logs
Can't even log into any of the accounts.
Fails to connect to the NAS
Never works
Finds the NAS but won't connect, stating an issue with UPnP (which works fine with all other devices). Also both buffalo apps seem glitchy on my Z3, freezing and crashing.

This is a seriously flawed app sorry Buffalo but you need to sort this out. Finds my Linkstation but goes into a constant loop of confirming the devices IP address plus your on line help is terrible. Work with your customers.
