The program allows any Windows PC hooked up to a Digital Analogue Converter (DAC) to become a network player. You can even control the software with the dedicated this smartphone app.

This software enables bit-perfect playbacks by being compatible with both ASIO and WASAPI (exclusive mode). DSD plays in ASIO native method with ASIO, and in DoP method with WASAPI.

2) Artworks are displayed when WAV is played
Place artwork image files in the same folder of your music file, and the artworks will be displayed on the smartphone screen, when you are playing music. It also works with FLAC and DSD, displaying the artwork in priority.
3) Displays DAC operation mode
You can check the features of the sound source in play and the DAC’s operation mode (sampling rate and bit depth). It also indicates by markings whether it is bit-perfect or not.
4) Gaps in playback eliminated
This software eliminates pauses that arise from the DAC 1-second gap system, ensuring nothing is cut off. So, the sound quality can be as high as possible.
5) Shuffle mode and playlist mode
You'll never hear the same song twice with the in-built shuffle function, as well as a playlist mode to mix your favorite songs and albums.

The app crashes when WiFi is turned on in Nougat 7.0 (at least on Huawei P10 Plus) but it seems like the app needs to be updated to work with Android 7 when WiFi is turned on, and also Android 8 I think. Because it just crash when WiFi is turned on, but when only mobile data is on it works, but as you know, to no use, we need WiFi to use this app. Fix this issue please

The installation in Windows simply setup a hook point. When setup done in Windows, you will need to select a DAC output, either ASIO or WASAPI, and the folder where you store your music. The playback need Hysolid app from the Play store to browse, manage playlist and play music. Make sure both phone and PC need to be on the same wifi network. The app on smartphone will automatically see music stored in PC in 1 min later. Easy setup for a tech-savy user but not for other. Sound quality not yet determined.

On a samsung s7 with android nougat, the control app keeps crashing. Have tried reinstalling but it appears the app is incompatible with nougat and needs updating. this is a shame, as this is the best sounding free software i have tried. Maybe use an older Android phone with it?
