It's great place to buy cheap manga... Now only if you can download read the manga that you've bought it could have been great. It's a shame really.

If you encounter an error page that mentions root even if your device is stock, follow the download link on the page and install their beta.

Its ok and has a good amount of content but the app itself is lacking its own store. It brings you to the site itself rather than have it built in the app

Uninstalling until you can get the new version up on Play Store. By the end of the day I have 30+ tabs if this app spamming a download link and it interrupts anything I do on my phone.

Good selection of novels and manga but the app is horrible and the look feels outdated compared to modern reader apps like kindle for android and many others

The service and store are good, but the app is slow, disorganized, prone to crashes, and will cancel downloads without notice.

It has a good selection of light novels and mangas. The reader is nice. Good reading experience.

Was working fine until someone came up with the nice idea of blocking rooted devices. Now it's just a useless app. Congratulations BookWalker, you have just lost a customer.

Amazing. Bought lots of books, and now and now I can even read them anymore because my phone is blocked for no good reason.

Now you have locked us out because your policy change against rooted devices and nonofficial ROM, please refund our money back or shall we submit complains to google play store or other consumer associations?

The application is no longer working for me it just crashes when I go to open it it's highly infuriating please fix it

Bookwalker now blocks rooted android devices and now I can't read any manga and LN that I bought and they did this while their GUI still looks like it's from 2008.

Doesn't work. My device is brand new and is not rooted or modified in any other way.

Good app for light novel lovers outside of Japan who can't read Japanese.

No custom rom, rooted device, etc...solution is read on web apps..yeah no thx..

Can't use it due to security changes. No point in spending money here

Works well for reading. The app has a few flaws that need to be tweeked such as poor book management, and organization, as well as very poor responsiveness and accuracy in text hilighting. It has a few critical bugs such as loss of network connectivity resulting in bookmarks and notes being lost when the app tries to sync, but it let's you read and download books well enough.

I really liked this app, was using it extensively on my kindle fire, but after the last update its become totally unusable. I wish there was a way to download the previous version!

It worked fine before the latest update. Now it says it cannot run on my device. Which is not true, if it was working just fine before the latest update.

Its a good app with a large selection of manga and light novels but i just wish they had audio versions of the light novels i work 10 hours a day and would love to be able listen to light novels during that time

This app is great and all, I'm just really disappointed that the interface is really outdated...

Honestly, i dont see any faults with it. It has a good wealth of books, and works well.

Awesome app. Nice personalized bookshelves option. Lots of legal manga and short novels available to purchase.

I don't like the UI. Especially the UI for organising bookshelf.

It could use a few updates, how the coartoriser thing...ya that looks like a old 2012 ipod...i like the manga and other genre u do it just up date look at other shoping apps and see how they look and then put it in ur "own style" u can also use instagram for inspration

This app needs to update it's design to modern android material design! It is very clunky.

Would be better if it had a way to translate the texts

Cant read my books anymore because my tablet is rooted

there's a lot of cool titles on here and I have more than enough money (got 150$ for Christmas) but it won't work no matter how many times I try. which stinks because I'd love to participate in this coupon event. I'm trying to give you my money but you won't have it apparently.

Not gonna go into detail but seriously there's no better option to legally read manga and light novels.

When I open the app it just has a black screen and after a while it says that the app stopped working

Purchased books to SD Card after updating to Android 6

I enjoy physical copies of my manga and light novels more since I like building up my collection, but this is an incredibly convenient app for buying digital copies and enjoying them on the go. It has a pretty nice selection too so I'm sure you'll find something that might peak your interest *cough* deadman wonderland *cough*.

Mostly functional but slow to load books and prone to occasional freezes.
