Doesn't do anything. Opens up and just starts playing a heart beat sound. Doesn't have anything to do with your actual baby.

Funny enough I have been using it for a puppy that was pulled away from mom WAY too early. I was having to let him sleep on my chest and was unable to get anything done. The heartbeat eases him and he sleeps soundly when it plays. If I turn it off he cries, so I have it playing non stop for him and the results have been absolutely phenomenal. I just wish it would go much longer before replaying. It would be fantastic if you could make another that sounds like a heartbeat from the outside of mom as well.

Helps with my newborn photography to soothe baby and help keep them sleeping past the shutter sound.

Volume very low too. Poor to rubbish. Did anyone test this first?

This is NOT what the baby hears in the womb, it's what you hear when they let you hear the baby's heartbeat before it's born... lame.

Doesn't turn off easily!

It is a bit quiet, but even crib attachments purpose-built for playing womb sounds are fairly quiet. This won't replace those, but it's perfect for when you're rocking a baby to sleep with one hand, while doing something on your device with the other. I think it works on my wife as well.

Even though it has a stop button, every time that I used it I wasn't able to stop it. I had to shut my phone off and turn it back on in order to get the sound to stop.

Waaaayyyy too low.. had to put my phone up to my ear to hear anything

This worked great...when I was able to get newborn quiet enough to hear it. Baby had been up for few hours with intermittent crying. No other soothing was working til this. Was finally able to sleep for a few hours.

Have just recommended this app to all my new or soon-to-be parents. Whether it was coincidence I'm not entirely sure, but the app seemed to have instant success after four hours of needless screaming!!

Nice app

Sounds great, extremely simple app to use. Just wish the loop were smoother and less obvious. My infant doesn't seem to mind, but everyone the track ends and restarts, it jolts me awake. Other than that, no issues.
