Me Frame - Digital photo frame

It's the only one I've found that works like I wanted to. I'm able to but my own pictures (naughty ones) that I have saved on my phone. One thing... It won't read anything off of your SD memory card, only on your phone. But I still give it five stars!

Works well for me. I bought a refurbished Samsung tab 10.5 and a charging stand. Just perfect as a picture frame for only $60! Loaded my pics into Google's PICASA. Only problem is that that the control tray shows. Not sure how to hide that.

At first, it seemed like exactly what I was looking for (an app to randomly display Picasa/Google+ photos on my tablet while in Daydream mode...until I realized it is limited to only a single folder at a time, and doesn't have a "shuffle" or "random" setting. If you can add an "all folders" and "random slideshow" option, it would probably be the best I've been able to find. Kudos for not having ads, though!

Would be nice to add rotate on/off button inside app. I see it rotate on tablet and can get a bit annoying. Since rotation is off for the rest of my tablet.

When selecting file location it only offers a choice between between internal storage or Picasa. As all of my photos are on my SD card, this is of no use to me. LG G4.

Needs multi-select Picasa folders. Internal storage needs the option to browse to /storage/sdcard1 to get to the SD Card. Also need option to keep screen on, so it doesn't dim :)

No access to external SD card. The description of the app notes Picasa/External SD/Internal storage. Only Picassa and Internal storage are available, rendering this app unable for use to me.

To find a daydream app that just displays the photo's in a given folder full screen in a random order?!?!???

No random/shuffle option is totally confusing. Why wouldn't that be an option?

It does what it says but the pictures are so pixilated it's pointless.

Best simple slideshow out there great setting options. My Nonny is going to love all the pictures

It just works, all I want is something to play a google photos album and this does the job well.

Needs random photo display and auto rotate functions but otherwise works well.

Perfect for converting out of date tablet into a quality digital photo frame. Very easy to set up and enough options to customise. Excellent.

This app works well and integrates with Picasa seamlessly. The start/stop times needs to enable the screensaver/lock screen when stopped. Make the screen go dark at night. I do wish the app had a real interface and start button widget. As it is now, starting the program always takes you straight to settings, which has a "Start Now" bar at the bottom. Some way to start the process without seeing the settings would prevent unintended change of the settings by grandma.

Need to lose black bar at bottom and clock background triangle.

Option to fit images not available. Some images are being cropped badly depending on orientation. Colorful borders could be thinner. Animation should be available optional in all modes.

No way to randomize photos, always shows in exact same order.

I can't access my /mnt folder so I can't access my where my pictures are.

This is one of the best digital photo frames out there. Free and it works with tablets. Wished it had a picture scroll function function.

Displays low-res pixilated pictures in the slideshow even for Google albums that have the full res pics available. Pics are displayed in the same order every time. You can only select one album to display at a time

please add random play support with more random transitions as available in quickpic app and please give control not to stretch pic to screen (auto fit) but has zoom and scroll effect auto rotation of image as per android orientation

Unfortunately only allow the selection of 1 Picassa folder.

Really c'mon I don't have the internal memory to keep my pictures in the root folders

Same as other apps on KK, the start/end timer doesn't work. But on my older ICS tablet, it works. And please follow the screen brightness, when the show start, the brightness goes 100%, too bright for my screen. Same as other user, please implement shuffle and sort methods (date, filename, etc). And also remember where the show stop and pick up where it left off the next time it run. I have quite a lot of photos, and every time it run, it start from the beginning. This way, I will never see the later photo ever.

Really needs a photo order randomisation setting. And would be good to have a setting to dim screen during slideshow at it uses quite a bit of battery.

Really like this app. Does everything I need it to. One question, on my Nexus 7, running lollipop 5.03, the menu buttons at the button are always visible. Is there a setting I missed or a bug?

I very much like the app's ability to access google photos (picasa), though I do wish it could use Google Drive folders as well (I'd prefer using those actually). I'm actually using this for my home phones (which our Android-based) - so I can have a handful of pics that rotate through, but for holidays and special events, I can just manage the pics a bit and now the phones pick it up automatically. However, there are a couple bugs that make it something I can't use as a daydream replacement: Backlight timeout ignored when running: While running, the phone is in a state of "use", so it never honors the backlight timeout. Noon displayed with zeros ("00:xx PM") and single-digit hours with leading zero), when in 12-hour format: Wishlist: -Ability to adjust font size on clock. -Cleaner/smoother transitions. -Settings shared across all devices on account. -Google Drive folders for pictures.

Really needs a random mode. Needs to use the new fullscreen api's in newer versions of android. More transitions/themes with a bit more polish. I am actually surprised there is so little development in apps like this and dayframe. With so many users with older devices, turning them into picture frames seems like a no brainier to me.

I love this app because its free and does the same thing that pay version apps do except for not having Chromecast streaming capabilities. Add that and this is definitely a five star app.
