About Bluetooth AutoStart Launcher

Ever wish you could get into your car and have your music or navigation apps start automatically?

It's simple: Bluetooth AutoStart runs user-selected apps when a bluetooth device connects (or disconnects).

Starting with Android 4.0, it's no longer possible to kill a running task. That's why task-killer apps don't work, and why Bluetooth AutoStart can't stop the tasks you select for autostart. You'll need to configure your apps to detect bluetooth disconnect if that option is available. If not, find another app that does support it.

Completely free with no unnecessary permissions, ads, or anything else you need to worry about. Want to support the developer? Consider purchasing the 'Pro' version!

Please be kind!
I created this app for my own use and will to continue to provide updates, including new features. I am sharing it with others because I was dissatisfied with existing mobile options.

Share your ideas for improvements and I promise to consider them in future releases.

No unnecessary permissions - does exactly what is advertised. Nice to have the music app start when the amp powers up. Doesn't really need the paid version, but is probably going to buy it anyway.

Not for the Note 5. In my phone, it started closing all other apps after they were opened for about 1 minute. Problem went away aftet I uninstalled. Too bad because other than that, it worked like it was supposed to.

I'm giving 5 stars due to the fact this is a personal app and is sharing with us, but I would like to ask if is possible to force this app to play automatically Spotify when connected to the bluetooth and then go to the next app, even more... play a video file, when done open the next app (like Spotify and start playing it automatically ) and then the next app let's say a navigation one. And doing all of that by activating the screen when is off or locked. What do you think, is it possible. Thanks a lot

Works great when your phone disconnects from the watch. Auto launching the app really helps reconnecting to the device. Thanks!

I have it starting Pandora when I connect to my Jambox which it does flawlessly. In addition, I was having issues with Pandora playing in my Chevy via MyLink. This seems to have fixed that, so I'm really happy. One suggestion: can you display the custom name for the Bluetooth connection instead of the default one? For instance, I connect to two Jamboxes, and I renamed the connections in the Bluetooth settings so I could tell the difference. Would be nice to see those descriptions in this app.
