Simple, precise, non-invasive. The widget ring sometimes gets stuck at a weird extreme value, but the number stays accurate. Opening the app updates the widget ring. Also, a slight ux improvement: the app screen has no cue that it swipes up to reveal the graph; people see that dial screen and think that's it.

I noticed many reviewers blamed the smartphone for pressure changes. It is not the smartphone. This app measures the accurate pressure of your current location and not that of the weather forecast. I have severe asthma and COPD, both of which are adversely affected by low barometric pressure (below 30.00). This is the first thing I check when my breathing gets worse.

by O####:

Works great on my Galaxy Note 4. Reviews mention scaling and lower limits, but now there are options to set these. I really like how easy it is to scale the graph just by pinching it like an image. And I leave it running in the background all the time, and it doesn't even register on my battery usage statistics. The advertising sits in the bottom bar and is not a problem.

It is so very good to finally have at hand a tool that provides Baro pressure Trends rather than just present static pressure reading. The accuracy and ease of use is also amazing. Never knew these phones had a pressure sensor too. WB9NNK

I think it is pretty accurate. I have Rheumatoid arthritis that is effected by the low pres- sure. The needle does mot move much nut I notice when it is low my joint ache. So it is an indicator of press ure reading. Good app.

Simple to use, well laid out. Unlike my barometer at home, this one also has time vs pressure chart so that you can see the variations required to predict weather changes. Very nice.

Best app I have found to track changes in atmospheric pressure. You can adjust the way information is displayed in several ways. You can log data for up to 30 days. Has built in adjustable alarm settings to warn when pressure changes quickly. Has features most other apps charge you for. Kudos to the developer's.

K70%
by K####:

Richly featured & attractive. Readings are affected by altitude when traveling but that's unavoidable w smartphone. Reads periodic pressure drops on s8, suspect related to battery saver. You can ignore those drops on the graph but it messes up the range/highlight of the weather clock. Would be perfect if the app used local weather station data instead of the phone sensor.

by K####:

Tropical Storm Cindy came through and I knew it was the cause of my headaches. But this app keeps a record of pressure readings which helped show a correlation between the pressure changes and spikes in pain. I compared this app to the weather channel app and readings were really close.

To *Molly Jones-Lewis*: i hear you there. I am vision-impaired, with degenerating vision loss, and it causes what's essentially a constant 24 hour a day migraine. My head pain is greatly affected by the pressure inside and outside of my head & body, so I watch the barometer like a hawk. I'm really, really hoping that this app will be useful to me, because it's hard to find good barometer apps for phones that aren't exactly state-of-the-art. Here's hoping! :) Thanks for taking the time and effort to write a concise review...it was there for me to find, & give a potentially awesome app a chance :-).

Great app! It's a barometer, not an altmeter. Great for sailors! Very clear display reading and graphical history. No noticed battery drainage on S7. Adds out of the way and nor annoying.

O70%
by O####:

This application does right those things, which are described. And does them very well. Possibility of collecting measurement statistics and show it graphically is nice feature. Thanks to the author for good program.

K70%
by K####:

Overall, a decent app. Graphing is deceptive due to having no zero point. It changes with the current low. Would love to see a configurable graphing option!

K70%
by K####:

I am using this app to check the pressure before during and after a migraine. It is very accurate compared to the beromator that was my grandpa's.

K70%
by K####:

I have migraines triggered by pressure changes, so this is very helpful for giving me a sense of why my head is exploding. Especially useful for pacing medication and predicting just how bad things are likely to get, as well as proving to my neurologist that there is a legit and provable connection to my pain and the weather.

Richly featured & attractive. Readings are affected by altitude when traveling but that's unavoidable w smartphone. Reads periodic pressure drops on s6, suspect related to battery saver. You can ignore those drops on the graph but it messes up the range/highlight of the weather clock. Would be perfect if the app used local weather station data instead of the phone sensor.

The wheel range only goes down to 26 inHg. Useless for anyone that lives at altitude. Normal pressure here is 24 inHg. Should be able to show pressure to at least 10k feet altitude. Oddly, the widget does read low enough.

U70%
by U####:

I live at 5600 feet and I'm unable to set the wheel minimum value. It stays at a min of 24 inHg. Where I live it's not unusual to be at 30 to 31 so the wheel is often maxed out. I Wish the minimum set correctly. Using Samsung S6.

I have Meniere's Disease and sudden atmospheric pressure drops can send me into a vertigo attack. This doesn't predict these pressure drops, but helps me understand why I get vertigo out of the blue sometimes. Online weather sites mostly miss these fluctuations.

K70%
by K####:

Locks up the barometer sensor after a few days. Have to reboot phone (SGS4 GTI9505) to get barometer sensor working again. After uninstalling this app barometer no longer locks up. This app is faulty.

Y70%
by Y####:

Just what I was looking for. (Be sure to swipe up). I didn't believe my RA was triggered by the barometric pressure until using this. 5 stars if it had a little better 'help'.

K70%
by K####:

I have Meniere's Disease. When the barometric pressure drops, I drop. It alerted me the other day and it was not storming. So makes sense that I struggle other times other than stormy weather.

K70%
by K####:

There is no other app for barometric pressure and it's history and graphs better than this right now. And trust me I know as I am a weather guy

K70%
by K####:

Excellent application. Could use some tweeking to make the graph easier to shift left-right and to control scaling. I will try the data export later today and expect the Excel display of data will address my graphing complaint. I'm using the app to see if pressure changes correlate to my headaches.

C70%
by C####:

I had to write the author/creator because I needed the graph and couldn't find it. Then, messing around, I swiped up. Boom, there was the line chart. -Minutes later, I get a reply email with the answer, from the creator. #thanksman

So far seems to be working well! I was in pain and thought it might be due to barometric pressure change and the pressure is climbing at quit a rate:( Haven't had the alarm go of yet but I just downloaded.

K70%
by K####:

This is exactly how it should work. If you do not understand why then Google it.

K70%
by K####:

Great app if you want specifics on barometric pressure without having to deal with weather apps that give you every piece of info BUT what you were looking for. Perfect for anyone dealing with health issues that react to pressure changes.

I70%
by I####:

I'd give it 5 stars if I could find a guide on how to use this app, the times of the app and real time are never the same or all that close. That's really my only issue with the app. Or perhaps I'm just missing something..

K70%
by K####:

Upon ascending the Seattle Space Needle on an elevator, the app announced to me that pressure had dropped rapidly and a storm is coming. What a joke.

K70%
by K####:

I love the graph but didn't find it right away. Swipe up for the graph. Output the data and throw it in to Excel and you can manipulate the data for any need you might have.

K70%
by K####:

Changes in the pressure help me track health issues tied to barometric pressure, like migraines. Also good for tracking severity if approaching storm.

S70%
by S####:

I really appreciate this in helping me to know when the weather changes and how those changes affect my child who has autism. When the pressure is really low or changes a lot, I know it is going to be a rougher day than others. This has helped me to understand why my child has a lower frustration tolerance on some days than others.

K70%

Makes barometric monitoring a breeze. Logs barometer readings over time with ease. Also alerts you when storm is imminent. I love this app!

K70%
by K####:

Straightforward visually, good options set and has been spot on with my paid full weather app and a stand alone barometer AND a reading from a website for my areas! Way more thorough than I intended but great to know that it's that accurate! No real cons

J70%
by J####:

I really like this app. I've been using it to see if there is any correlation between the pressure and my migraines.

K70%
by K####:

Doesn't allow you to put in your exact area & is not correct. Way off compared to.other apps- very inconsistent

I70%
by I####:

I don't know how accurate it is, but the other day a storm was coming in and it notified me that a storm might be coming, even though I was not using it. The storm never happened but thanks for the warning.

K70%
by K####:

I now can see why I'm hurting so bad

K70%

Didn't work right after installation and it froze my S6 Edge completely. Not able to calibrate either.
