CompassX Android Wear Compass

Doesn't work on my watch. It's stuck in the North position no matter what I do.

Really works after so many crap. And it shows what it showing should. Scouts, couple deegrees its not a problem. LG Urbane Androidwear 2. Hvala covjece! :-)

This was the best compass app. It worked till Marshmellow. Now the Moto 360 is claiming it doesn't have a compass sensor in other apps as well.

Worst app

Very nice app. Works perfectly on Sony SW3. Just one question - does it point to true North or magnetic?

These seem unable to play nice. Which ever gets access first works - but then fails once the other tries to access the compass - at which point the working one also fails. Symptoms - inaccurate reading in second app, then freezing in first app. I assume one or both apps are attempting to open sensors exclusively - which would seem weird for a read only operation. This is an app. issue, not hardware as the sensor carries on reporting movement just fine. App is basic, but fine. Update: I am not sure the statement that only one app can get sensor data is correct (may depend on how you are getting the data) as I have two apps gathering step data successfully, also using SensorDashboard (an app) it reports all sensors while they are being used by the other apps.

This is a nice app that does what it says. Well at least until the marshmallow update on the moto 360 1st gen. The compass is now stuck at 360°. Confident the developer will address this issue.

Simple compass, works OK but nothing really special. The paid version has more interesting features.

Just had to restart moto 360. Will buy pro version. Also trying to figure out a way to launch it more easily from the watch. It's a little convoluted with the Moto.

Usually I need a compass to get the sense of position inside a building. This is a great tool for me. Just have to restart my moto 360 before it can run properly. need fix here. but really, just put a warning to restart the watch after instalation should be fine.

Had a glitch but it was the watch not the app. It looks great and works great

Didn't work until I restarted My phone and watch , works well on moto 360 .

May not be a developer issue...watch may not be compatible...Moto hasn't gotten back to me on this yet.

Tried another compass app which didn't work on my LG G Watch R but this one works great. Easy to calibrate and use.

Works well and seems accurate but it cause massive battery drain on my moto 360.

Never installed on my Android Wear device after waiting ~20-30 minutes, even after I told Android Wear to manually sync apps.

Please take the time to read the ratings. Restart may be required.... Works great, thanks.

It doesn't work on the Moto 360 because the watch has no compass evidently. The description doesn't say that, as other apps of this kind do, and it is shown on a Moto 360 which may be a first gen device. Put in the disclaimer and take out the picture of the app working on the Moto 360 and I will change the rating. Also, it seems to work on the phone, but jut has one screen and no way to calibrate it or do anything other than turn it on and off.

This app is attractive, easy to read, and surprisingly accurate. It is critical that you calibrate the compass - to do that, just start the app, and move your watch in a figure 8 pattern a few times. I am using it on Sony Smartwatch 3.
