The World English Bible (also known as the WEB) is one of the only public domain, modern-English translation of the entire Holy Bible. It is also the only English-language Bible custom translated to be understood by most English-speakers, worldwide, eliminating the need for data-processing based or computer operating system-specific internationalizations. Work on the World English Bible began in 1997 and was first known as the American Standard Version 1997.
The World English Bible project was started to produce a modern English Bible version that is not copyrighted, does not use archaic English (such as the KJV), and is not translated in Basic English (such as the Bible In Basic English). The World English Bible follows the American Standard Version's decision to transliterate the Tetragrammaton, but updates "Jehovah" to be "Yahweh". The British and Messianic Names editions use the traditional forms (e.g. the LORD).
Also includes the following Apocryphal books (Apocrypha) in the following order:
• Tobit
• Judith
• Additions to Esther (additions found in the LXX namely Esther 10:4-16)
• Wisdom (Also known as the Wisdom of Solomon)

So good! This is the only audio Bible I know where you can begin listening midway through a chapter. There is everything to like about this app but for that reason alone I am giving it 5 stars. Not to mention it includes the Apocrypha too.

I like this bible because I can read it offline, plus it has books that other bible apps don't have in them like Ecclesiasticus which is one of my most read part of the bible. However, please give us an option that allows us to copy the text. It would really come in handy especially when we want to share verses via text or social networks. I hope you'd consider this. This bible is AMAZING! I read it every night. I also love how it can read out loud for you as well. I've came across words that I couldn't pronounce that's when I will press "read out loud" to help me. This app is wonderful!
