"Biryani Zone" started during the month of February 2010 with a motive of spreading the wholeness of traditional Andhra Style Cooking to every resident in and around Marathalli, Bangalore.
"Biryani Zone" is the only restaurant in the horizon which follows the oldest form of cooking, that is on fire wood & Coal. “The Hyderabadi Biryani” which is our specialty is prepared with meat marinated with spices and again soaked in yogurtbefore cooking. The meat is sandwiched between layers of fragrant long-grained basmati rice and is cooked on dum (steaming over coals), after sealing the handi (vessel) with a layer of dough. This challenging process & meticulous attention to time and temperature ensures that the biryani is not over or undercooked and the meat is tender. This imparts a unique aroma, taste and flavour, whilst ensuring that food remains succulent and tender. One of best Indian spices are chosen and ground by our Chefs at Biryani Zone itself.
