IntelliSUB

IntelliSub è un’applicazione rivolta all’analisi e alla simulazione dei dati di posizione, velocità e accelerazione raccolti da un accelerometro e da un GPS (USBL nel nostro caso) istallati in un veicolo sottomarino.
L’obiettivo è quello di ricostruire in modo ottimo la traiettoria percorsa: i dati sono il risultato dell’applicazione del filtro di Kalman alle letture effettuate dai sensori. Inoltre sono a disposizione anche le interpolazioni di posizione, velocità e accelerazione. Le interpolazioni sono stime più precise relative a istanti di campionamento precedenti: si sfrutta l’informazione fornita dalle nuove misurazioni per migliorare la precedente stima ottima calcolata mediante filtro di Kalman.
Questi dati relativi a stima ottima e interpolazioni dovranno essere salvati in file di testo memorizzati nella scheda SD dello smartphone. IntelliSub è in grado di riconoscere questi file, leggerli ed effettuare l’analisi richiesta dall’utente. IntelliSub is an application directed to the analysis and simulation of the position data, speed and acceleration collected by an accelerometer and a GPS (USBL in our case) installed in an underwater vehicle.
The aim is to reconstruct the path traveled in excellent way: the data are the result of the Kalman filter to the readings from the sensors. Furthermore they are still available tweens position, speed and acceleration. Tweens are more accurate estimates of moments of previous sampling: it uses the information provided by the new measurements to improve the previous optimal estimation calculated by the Kalman filter.
These data on optimal estimation and interpolation will be saved in text files stored in the SD card of your smartphone. IntelliSub is able to recognize these files, read and carry out the user request analysis.
