No hassles, no competition to flag a cab, no need to use cash (pay through app), taxi shows up within 5min. Just make sure you get in the one you called for! (The name/number is in smallish print on the side of the car).

You could guess the cab industry in rome is run by the mob the drivers quote you the fixed airport price and then add fees like extra person fee and help with luggage fee. Your better of with Uber. I hope they go out of buisness.

I can't even fill up my register because the app doesn't have my country code listed: +55 and it doesn't accept that I fill it manually. I know that this app is normally used by italians but since you put a country code field there you're expecting someone from foreigner countries and that's is a shame. Happily Uber works fine, as always.

Taxi meter does start to count once the taxi is call. This is normal as it happens at many other countries in Europe too. However I think there is a max to how much it charges. I stay in Rome 5 days and used it everyday. Always came within 5 minutes. You can see on the map the closest taxi so can estimate how long it takes to arrive. Will use this again best time in Rome. P.s. needs data or Wi-Fi to locate your position on your cell phone. EVERY APP similar to this, including uber, must need it to work.

I decided to use the app today for my first time. I had to wait for the taxi 15-20 mins, which is ok because they did give me a call to warn that the taxi was going to take around 10 mins or so, and I could see where the taxi was on the map. When the taxi arrived, the meter was already displaying 25 euros!!! The driver tried to explained that the meter starts counting from the moment you request the taxi, and he was far away. If he is far away they should send a driver that is nearer to you, or at least warn you. I have taken dozens of taxis in Milan and never had that problem. Conclusion: Never again!

Could not cancel my booking which had been created well before the actual taxi trip, I had to, instead to call the telephone number of the taxi company. What's the point of this app if taxi reservations cannot be edited or deleted without making a phone call?
