appTaxi - one app for all taxi

Initially, there was a problem with the app where I was forced to pay twice for a ride because I paid the driver directly after requesting a taxi with 'pay online' option. Although customer rep did not respond to my inquiry before the 2nd payment was charged, they did promptly address the issue once they did respond few days later. I am quite satisfied that the refund is being processed. Thank you!

Installed a new version, as bad as ever. Does not let me save my card after successful 3d secure verification, and still has maddening pop up about geo location. And NO, geo location is NOT necessary, I can still call a taxi inserting address manually but must get rid of pop up every 5 seconds. Worst taxi app I've ever used.

Initial configuration does not complete, I'd reach my destination on foot way faster than by waiting for the sms code to confirm my account and book a taxi. Maybe it doesn't work with international phone numbers?

Selected my location on the map, but it shortened the address and sent the driver to the wrong location. Tried to pay by the app and it didn't accept payment, so paid cash, but now have an outstanding payment stuck on the app. Pointless, just call a taxi and pay cash.

Won't let you use it without giving them access to your contacts. What a transparent data grab.

Piece of bugged crap. Never lets me finish registration, the SMS code arrives but the app restarts itself, and I have to fill everything in again. Rinse, repeat.

The app just gives you the option to sign up with a verification code via sms but then never sends any sms. Totally useless!!

The same as other countries. It's a necessary application. But we have more improved apps like it in Iran.

Installed the App and keep getting Auth error "Can not send Auth data" error during registration. I couldnt pass or skip the screen..Sorry to say but its such a waist of time.

Tried twice. Gave correct address. Never arrived.

Useless 'pay by card' option, was forced to pay cash to driver which caused extreme inconvenience! Difficult to choose location, as moving the map automatically adjusts the pointer to a different place which is annoying when the area and street names are unfamiliar. Taxis do not arrive in the time or to the correct address, and even picked up the wrong passengers from the wrong street before reaching my location which was inconvenient for everyone involved! Would not recommend to anyone.

Just terrible. Using app to call taxi, no taxi comes. Had to rely on strangers on the street to call a taxi for me.

Didn't work in Italy - wasted a lot of time trying to use it

I want Uber back! This app is buggy from very beginning and sms never arrives.

Who cares about an app when the service behind the app is just 3rd class, worst Taxi service ever. In fact, Italy is just a bogus country. Yes the app sucks, but the even it were a good app, the taxi service is a toilet bowl. Do yourself a favor and call Uber.

I've tried 4 separate times to use the app to call a taxi in Firenze. 3 times it said I can't use the app at this time. The other time no taxi responded to the request.

Australians need not bother with this app. Can't register

When local phone numbers would not work on our UK mobiles and we were fed up of struggling through conversations in Italian, this app meant we could book taxis in seconds which all arrived bang on time and got us where we needed to go in Florence. Superb!

Even though it offers other languages it most communicates in Italian. Gave it an Italian number and continued to error on a 5am reservation. It does not search locations to ensure you get the destination correct for the taxi. Just the worst.

Call taxi didn't work,.reported some notification error. SMS didn't work, got a reply telling me the address was wrong.

worked perfectly with my north american #. was able to use it in multiple northern italian cities to order cabs directly to my door. very useful!
