Il Circolo Golf e Tennis Rapallo nasce nel 1931 in una delle più suggestive zone del Golfo del Tigullio. Rapallo è infatti una cittadina situata nel punto più interno del golfo e vanta una grande tradizione turistica grazie alle proprie spiagge ben curate ed attrezzate, al proprio porticciolo accogliente e ad angoli di suggestiva bellezza.
Dall’otto aprile 1933, giorno in cui si cominciò ufficialmente a giocare a golf e a tennis, Rapallo si è arricchita di un potenziale turistico di grande richiamo e prestigio che negli anni è diventato conosciuto ed apprezzato in tutto il mondo.
Il percorso nasce nove buche e sin da subito vengono messe a dimora, per abbellirlo, centinaia di piante che ancora oggi sono una delle sue più importanti caratteristiche. Ben presto il campo, che nel frattempo ha riscosso grande successo, dato il numero sempre crescente di soci e visitatori, italiani e stranieri, si rivela insufficiente; nel 1970, a fianco dell’aguzzo campanile dell’antico Monastero di Valle Christi, hanno inizio i lavori per l’ampliamento del percorso a 18 buche.
Da allora, inizia un nuovo cammino di grandi successi e riconoscimenti; Rapallo diventa uno dei campi più scenografici d’Italia, per la bellezza delle proprie buche e per la presenza di alberi secolari che con le loro fronde contribuiscono in modo determinante ad abbellire e contraddistinguere tutte le zone del campo.

The Golf and Tennis Club Rapallo was born in 1931 in one of the most picturesque areas of the Gulf of Tigullio. Rapallo is in fact a town located in the innermost point of the bay and has a great tradition in tourism thanks to its well-kept beaches and equipped, at its marina and cozy corners of striking beauty.
From eight in April 1933, the day when we officially began to play golf and tennis, Rapallo has been enriched by a tourism potential of great attraction and prestige over the years has become known and appreciated worldwide.
The path was born nine holes and right now they are planted, to embellish it, hundreds of plants that are still one of its most important features. Soon the field, who has since enjoyed great success, given the increasing number of members and visitors, Italians and foreigners, is insufficient; in 1970, alongside dell'aguzzo bell tower of the ancient Monastery of Valle Christi, begin work on the expansion of the 18 holes.
