Maybe not everybody knows that the Italian recipe originates from the city of Treviso, northern Italy near Venice.The recipe "Tirame su" the original name from the Venetian dialect, was born in the 70s by the pastry chef Roberto Linguanotto, famous creator of dessert recipes.
On January 17, 2013 the International Day of Italian Cuisines the official dish was Tiramisu, undoubtedly the most widely known "dolce italiano" in the world. A perfect recipe for many reasons and one of the most imitated. Tiramisu could well be the symbol of the unhindered spread of Italian recipes cuisine in the world over the last 30 years.
