HeartRate+ Coherence PRO for Android
It can be somewhat difficult to get a reliable heart measure signal but when you do it's very useful. Thank you for pointing me to the settings for the flash. After turning off it is much more comfortable (although a bit more difficult to get a reliable stable signal). The flash got too hot on my Nexus 6.
This it's exactly what i was looking for but it needs 2 things. 1) brightness control: after about 40 seconds, the light on my phone is so intense that I can't maintain contact long enough. Need a way to turn it down so it doesn't feel life I'm burning myself. 2) digital custom bath control. Although the slides are visually helpful, would be nice to be able to write in 5-1-5-1 somewhere
Great product thanks. Just one hiccup - The session details coherence charts are often an identical replica of previous runs (they should be updated each run and completely unique). The stats and HR look to be fine. Hope you can fix this please. If you can, I will recommend it to many++ others.
Great app, however when using the camera heart rate detection with my Nexus 6 I find it's been causing some pain with my fingertip. (Flash LEDs get too warm). Noticeable through a gradual reduction in fingertip feeling over a few days use!!
Use it every day with Polar H7 heart monitor strap. Use Paced Breathing app as audio clue for breath ( it runs in the background/ start before opening this app). Use the "coherence spectrum" screen the most as I like to see what this looks like and practice bringing down the edges to make a bell shape ( higher coherence). Also by looking at the coherence spectrum screen I can adjust my breathing pace to achieve an easier coherence (only do this occasionally as usually my breathing pace is fine).
Please, switch flashlight automatically off after session. Also show percentage of each line when setting custom breathing rhythm.
So far so good but I can actually feel the flashlight burn my finger as it is reading my pulse. Can I turn it down at all?
I use this on my Sony Xperia Z2 along with the Classic in-app which is well worth the £3.53. I have used the Heartmath em wave for several years on my computer and this app compares very well plus, I have the convenience of being able to access it on my mobile when I choose and I highly recommend it
First of all, I also tried the app on the Iphone and the readings seems more reliable on the iphone. Is it something you can work on for the android version (I have a GS6)? Secundo, Is it possible to add a setting for us to be able to choose the power of the flash. That way, I could get better readings without "burning" myself ;p.
those differ very much as accuracy from camera reading mode is kinda detailed and from save data mode is a total mess.can you use a big ekg paper background instead?or a csv export?i only us this as a heart rate puls graph monitoring and history data is important.if update any of those i pay for full version.
Best app for HRV coherence! But please, add vibration guidance for breathing (on/off during in/out, only on the changes..)
Cannot get sound to guide me. Keeps interrupting with a pop-up for purchase! Drives me nuts! Not relaxing at all just for the second reason ! !!!! Also, my android tablet does not have a flashlight, just the front and back cameras.
It detects the BT HR monitor but on tapping on the choice, it does nothing. My device is android and its dissapointing that I cant use it at all.
It overheats the camera of my phone so much that it's not working afterwards. Don't buy this!
Really good tool. Love the breathing guide, would even be better if the Samsung note 4 builtin heartrate monitor is used.
Best heart coherence app I have tried on Android so far!
Works perfectly for me with polar h7 strap.
Can you make the app stay on when you have your phone screen off?
I can't connect the app wirh my gear fit2
It recognised my sigma ble chest band but would not connect to it.
Especially since the cardiac monitor part is as accurate as any hospital cardiac monitor. Great application. Thanks developer.
This program is a god send. Thanks for all your wonderful work
I already had a great HRV app but I wanted something for breath coherence as well and this app was gem of a find. This kind of breath training is usually very expensive so to get it at this price is excellent even if there does seem to be a huge discrepancy with the price in pounds compared to the price in euros. One suggestion would be to add audio breathing clues so that the user doesn't have to watch the screen all the time. It could be in and out noises or a person's voice saying inhale, hold, etc
The idea is great but it doesn't work well for me in practice. I cannot get a reliable signal and the flash quite quickly gets uncomfortably hot on the finger both on a Nexus 5 and an older Galaxy 3
This is a great hrv app worth the pro price, my only gripe it can't record in the background or with the screen off and the touch boxes are too small for fat fingers. Whenever I try to change the breathing pattern it restarts the recording.
Looks like a good app but the connection to my bluetooth device is strange. Once I was able to connect it but then every time I tried it did not find it, however the BT device is listed in my paired devices in android.
I bought the full version + the heart beat Bluetooth device on November 13, 2015 (9 euro) and it didn't arrived!. Then I sent them email and they didn't answer I really regret that I paid for that none: I deleted the review by mistake and here it again. i want my heart beat Bluetooth device or all my money back !
Is this app works with any Oximeter bluetooth 4.0?
A very useful application for Cardiac Coherence. You immediately know if you are inside the working zone or not. Furthermore, cycles can be fully customized including the breathing hold time. This tool can also be used for other breathing exercices than Cardiac Coherence. Thank you! However, two improvements would be great : - Given that the health benefits of the Cardiac Coherence last between 3 and 6 hours, it is recommended to practice every 3 to 6 hours. Thus, instead of a daily notification at a given time, it would be better to have a customizable countdown starting automatically at the end of the last exercise. For example, I do my first practice at 8:00 I will have a reminder at 12:00 and another 4 hours later, if I wish to practice 3 times a day. - Sometimes I use my tablet, and sometimes my phone. However my heart rate history is separated. If you connect your application to Dropbox, all data can be concatenated in a single place.
This app was recommended to me, but I'm disappointed. After 1 minute and 30 seconds I'm interrupted by an advert with in app purchases. Not very zen. Can't figure out how to make this stop. Boooo.

Love using this everyday with my wahoo tickr. Only issue I've found is that the heart rate monitor keeps disconnecting, sometimes on it's own accord. Also disconnects if you change app. Would be great to have it stay running in the background until disabled. Maybe have notification to pause/stop it too. As per some other comments, some audio breathing cues would add so much to the app too. Thanks!
