Mostra Luca Signorelli

Il 21 aprile 2012 apre al pubblico la grande mostra dedicata a Luca Signorelli, uno dei più importanti maestri del Rinascimento, un artista “de ingegno et spirto pelegrino”, come lo definì Giovanni Santi, il padre di Raffaello, lungamente attivo in Italia centrale dal 1470 al 1523. La rassegna monografica che si apre a Perugia è la prima dal lontano 1953.
La mostra presenta oltre 100 opere, di cui 66 del pittore cortonese, si articola in tre sedi espositive: a Perugia nella Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria, a Orvieto nel Duomo, nel Museo dell’Opera e nella chiesa dei Santi Apostoli, a Città di Castello nella Pinacoteca Comunale.
In linea con la politica regionale, che da anni si impegna a promuovere la green economy, per la prima volta nella storia della realizzazione di eventi espositivi è stato progettato un allestimento eco sostenibile, per il quale saranno utilizzati materiali riciclabili, lampade a led e teli fotovoltaici in grado di produrre una consistente parte dell'energia necessaria alla mostra, riducendone così notevolmente i costi fissi di gestione.
La mostra sarà resa maggiormente fruibile attraverso questa applicazione dalla quale si potranno attingere non soltanto informazioni di carattere scientifico, turistico e organizzativo, ma sarà anche possibile vedere le immagini più rappresentative, i video delle tre sedi espositive ed effettuare una visita virtuale della Cappella di San Brizio nel Duomo di Orvieto attraverso una panoramica a 360°. On April 21, 2012 open to the public the great exhibition dedicated to Luca Signorelli, one of the most important artists of the Renaissance, an artist "de wit et pilgrim spirit", as defined by Giovanni Santi, Raphael's father, long active in central Italy from from 1470 to 1523. The monographic exhibition that opens in Perugia is the first since 1953.
The exhibition features over 100 works, including 66 of the painter of Cortona, is divided into three venues: the National Gallery of Umbria in Perugia, Orvieto in the Cathedral, the Museum Opera and in the church of the Holy Apostles, City of Castle in the Municipal Art Gallery.
In line with the regional policy, which for years has been committed to promoting the green economy, for the first time in the history of the realization of exhibitions has been designed an environmentally sustainable construction, which will be used for recyclable materials, LED lamps and towels photovoltaic able to exert a significant part of the energy needed to show, thus reducing considerably the fixed costs of management.
The exhibition will be made more accessible through this application from which you can draw not only scientific information, tourism and organization, but it will also see the most representative images, videos of the three venues and a virtual tour of the Chapel of St. Brizio in the Cathedral of Orvieto through a 360 °.
