L'Università di Parma ha costruito nel tempo uno straordinario patrimonio museale accessibile a tutti. Le collezioni che lo compongono, sviluppatesi parallelamente alla didattica e alla ricerca universitaria, riguardano i diversi ambiti scientifici, naturalistici e artistici.

Il Sistema Museale d'Ateneo è costituito dall'insieme delle strutture responsabili dell'acquisizione, della conservazione, della gestione, della valorizzazione e della fruizione delle raccolte ed ha come scopo la diffusione e la promozione della cultura e della conoscenza scientifica.

Il Museo conserva, studia e fa conoscere: i percorsi espositivi sono ideati proprio per rendere più efficace ed accessibile la fruizione museale da parte di un pubblico trasversale di visitatori e di target sempre più ampi di "consumatori" dei Musei.

I Musei offrono visite guidate a fini educativi per tutte le scuole di ogni ordine e grado. The University of Parma has built over time a unique museum heritage accessible to all. The collections that make it up, which developed parallel to the teaching and research university, cover the different areas of science, nature and art.

The University Museum System consists of a set of structures responsible for the acquisition, conservation, management, enhancement and enjoyment of the collections and has as its purpose the dissemination and promotion of culture and scientific knowledge.

The museum preserves, studies and makes known: exhibition routes are designed precisely to make more effective and accessible the museum fruition by a public cross of visitors and target more and more extensive than "consumers" of Museums.

The museums offer guided tours for educational purposes for all schools of all levels.
