Smallest Facebook app I ever seen. Love it has messager included. Saves space and battery.

Super. My tablet with 16GB internal ram can not handlemb monster apps. Second: asks no too many permissions for spying on the device I own. K7nd of reasonable app in todays world of poorly regulated stealing of your own private data

Would get 5 starts if I can turn off the"people you may know" suggestions

It's a real toss up whether this or Metal is the best FB app. At the moment I think this just has the edge over Metal.

It use to show the settings, pages, groups, activity log, etc. Now, alas, no longer.

Best I have found !!! But one tiny glitch is "back" inifective when viewing full sized photos, have to choose home button or notifications. And I have not been able to upload videos. But it is great otherwise, does not clogg the system like Facebook's browser. Developer should be proud.

I didn't want to give this app a bad review, but after receiving no response to my messages and seeing that others were submitting the same issues, I see the the customer service for this app is lacking. I don't require a personal response to my concern because others are having the same issues. However, the developer could at least send out a blanket message and let us know the issues are being addressed. It really doesn't take that long to inform people that you are working on the issues.

Can you guys make the back button work to leave the "view full size picture". It gets stuck on the picture and just refreshes, instead of going back. Pretty annoying.

Light and fast. I can now stay logged into FB all the time without tying up my main web browser or using the worrisome official Facebook app. SlimSocial has all the common functions that I regularly use.

Sorry, but if notifications don't work, there really is no purpose to this app. You can just as easily pull up facebook in the browser, and have the same effect. Notifications are the core of the facebook app, without it, it's just a glorified browser wrapper.

Minor bugs here and there, but still serves it purpose. Consumes very less space compared to facebook app. Once you get the hang of the interface, you'd start liking it.

I wasn't about to install friggin Facebook messenger. (Or the Facebook app for that matter) this is perfect. Thank you so much for posting your code, too. When I open an image full screen it won't let me go back with the back arrow. I have to press the home button. Thanks.

this is one of the better alternative fb apps out there... it may be basic but that's what makes it a bit better than some of the others i've tried... and i've tried metal, facebook lite, fast for facebook etc etc- and the small size of this app makes it much much less of a battery and cpu hog than the other alternatives and defo fb's official (cr)apps, which is what you want on a smaller mobile device... only thing is can't send pics or movie clips in messages but aside from that it's pretty good

I love this wrapper. Unfortunately it still has the bug where you can't go back after opening a photo to full size. Even after today's update.

Just buzzing about this app.. Downloaded today and it just runs so smoothly I can't get over it.. Hope it continues.. Will update later..

Good and fast, but it seems that the home page takes too long to load, and has nothing to do with my internet. Please fix asap

Brilliant 1.47 mb same as Facebook but Facebook uses 400mb most of it spyware !!this slim social asks for nothing!no spyware!does messenger as well try it it's far better with large posts

Love this app! Occasional FB-er so this is great without having to worry about FB snooping on my phone.

Love the simplicity of this app! Sure it has a few issues, but since it's open source it's fixable by anyone!

Works great, except that when you show picture in Full Screen, you can not go back, but you have to click "Home" and scroll again. Full, unintrusive application for Facebook. GREAT!!!

Would be great if the back button worked when trying to leave full sized picture. Also the pictures don't scroll when in full size.

Everything I ever wanted from an FB app plus a few more I didn't realise I wanted until I found them on this.

This application is very good specialy for those who can't afford to buy an android phone that has high or big memory that suit up google update or even the facebook itself.

Fix the back button on full size photos and I'll give you give 5 stars. Also please disable GPS by default, not everyone checks the settings.

This app is small and it makes Facebook bearable. For best results make sure to change the default settings.

Great for viewing and reading Facebook without using much memory. Never slows down my phones.
