When you install an app on your phone it's easy to understand what's happening: you've got notifications and confirmation screens. The same is not true for your Android Wear device: after installing the app on the phone you just have to wait for the magic to happen, opening and closing the Start... menu until the epiphany occurs bringing the new icon on the list.

A few suggestions: remove the "watch is" bubble from watch side as it is unnecessary - the card by itself is enough. If I click on an app on the phone side, perhaps launch the phone side app instead of taking users to the app settings screen.
